Uprise provided fantastic quality work and warranty. They were extremely communicative and transparent throughout the process and installation went as smoothly as it could have. Beyond the quality of their own work, I think you can tell a lot from a company by whom they work with. The roofer they recommended in conjunction with the solar install installed the roof on time and cheaper than market rate while providing fantastic work. They furthermore hired a great drywall repairman to fix the drywall holes that were necessary for the install at no charge. I would absolutely recommend Uprise to anyone that wants to go solar (and you should!).

I was anxious to have solar panels put in my roof. Uprise made the process easy and transparent. Now, we’re saving so much money on our Pepco bills. Thanks Uprise for all your quality work!

The team at Uprise are great. They kept us in the loop of the progress they were making through the permitting phase, answered our questions promptly, and addressed all concerns we had about the project. They also went over all of the technical information on the solar equipment with us.

I appreciate the program that is being offered through Washington, DC’s Solar for All Program”. Working with Lightz Out Electric, LLC was the highlight of this project. Ed went above and beyond to make things right. The five star for service applies primarily to the electrical work. Other than that, I had to struggle with Uprise to get the roofing warranty a corrected, which will benefit all future customers. The Uprise Solar contract was also full of discrepancies that had to be corrected and the original contract contained details that were not relevant to the DC Solar for all program.

Professional and efficient. My first experience with getting solar panels installed. They explained the entire process from start to to finish even told me about the pros and cons, and MORE importantly ways to save money AFTER the system was installed. That’s a company that’s passionate about what they do.

Uprise Solar was a great solar installation contractor. From design to installation, everyone at the company that I dealt with was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They realized that there was more than one system configuration/size that would work for my roof and talked me through the pros and cons of the different systems. The installation itself went very smoothly. It’s great to see the system producing energy now that it’s all finished! As an added benefit, the temperature differential between the second and first floors of my house has decreased significantly, I believe b/c my roof, now shaded by the panels, is no longer absorbing so much heat from the sun. I highly recommend going solar and I highly recommend Uprise Solar!
