Workmanship Warranty

The panel and inverter manufacturers used by CFL Electric offer twenty-five (25) year warranties on their equipment. Customers should refer to manufacturers’ warranties for more specific information on their warranties. CFL Electric shall warranty its workmanship for services, but not equipment, provided for a period of ten (10) years from the moment the System is installed in Customer’s property (“Substantial Completion”). CFL Electric’s liability under this Agreement will be limited to the workmanship of the installation performed by CFL Electric. Equipment manufacturers are responsible for honoring their warranties independent of CFL Electric’s workmanship warranty. In addition CFL Electric will offer addition insurance on any install at the time of sale through SolarInsure or a similar company.

Bad news

I had an appointment with this company to come out and review my Solar needs between 9 and 10 am they showed up at noon time three guys in a pick up truck. Michael is the one I spoke with mostly he tried to tell me that my system was not up to specs which is untrue. I actually have twice what the manufacture recommended. Jeremy the so called owner of the company is sitting in the back of the pick up truck and Michael says “he’s trying to make payroll” not a good sign, a red flag for sure. These clowns sent me a text afterwards telling me that I have to bring my system up in order for them to work on it. In other words it’s just a way of making more money by thinking I’m an idiot. Stay away from this obviously unqualified company. I should mention I sit as one of the board of directors of the better business council and I have for 30+ years. I know a bad company when I see one.
