I chose to use O’Donnell Solar Co. due to their years of experience in both roofing and solar and being a local small business. Overall, I’m very satisfied with their performance and my 8.8kW system and battery backup. Working with the utility was the most challenging part of the process and caused some delays that should be expected by anyone thinking about installing solar. O’Donnell was able to effectively respond to the utility provider’s comments and move forward quickly. Even though I work from home, the installation was minimally disruptive during challenging weather conditions. I’m very satisfied with the quality of the installation and the manufacturers products installed so far. The features for monitoring and controlling the system through both browser and smartphone app work great. I highly recommend this company.

I initially contracted with the O'Donnell company because they possessed expertise in both roofing and solar energy system construction. They did not let me down. I was so happy with the resulting solar energy project, that I hired O'Donnell to install another system for me on a new construction residence. The O'Donnell team communicated well, had a knowledgeable crew working on the job, and they adhered to the project schedule. While they were not the lowest bidder, I did not have to micromanage any aspect of the job so that showed me that their price was very fair. I would not hesitate to hire them again and recommend them highly.

My husband and I wanted custom installation of solar panels with a backup battery system. O’Donnell Solar was extremely professional and helpful. The solar panels on the roof blend in perfectly with our roof shingles to integrate the system in a non intrusive manner. They also blended the conduit on the side of the house to barely be visible. This was important to us because the panels are on the front of the house. The system has provided us 100% energy independence in the initial use. The electrical inspector told us that he was impressed by the quality of their work. Communication between O’Donnell Solar (Larry and Chris) has been excellent. I would definitely recommend them for your solar needs.
