Bad Company

So this company will tell you everything you want to hear. Once you pay they will do very little for you. If you don't qualify for their loan, they will find another shady lender. They found us one that wouldn't transfer our loan, when we were selling our house. So we had to pay out the loan. Also then they hit us with a $750 transfer fee. Oh also the hockey tickets they give aren't where they say they are. I would not recommend them to anyone. Also if there was no star that is what they would get. Roman

Do not waste your time

The so called owner of company talked me into signing contract here in Maine, only to find out I wouldn’t qualify for the tax credit I was told I would. In which case my price would jump up drastically after 18 mo. I am retired and to think the owner of the company would do such a thing to someone is unthinkable. Can only imagine how they train their employees. My advice, choose another company.

Transparent and honest

My sales rep was extremely transparent and honest with me. He explained how the payment would change if I didn’t have the tax credits and compared different loans for the best price. I ended up going with a lease and the people over the phone were just as amazing

Complications scheduling site survey, refunded deposit

Sam and the customer service team were very helpful, but we faced challenges arranging the site survey. The appointment was scheduled 3 times, once with a cancellation notice at the time of the appointment, then twice the surveyor simply never showed up. Given the challenges in the first step of the process and changing financial circumstances, we decided to cancel the contract. We made several attempts to speak to a representative about having our deposit refunded given how early we were in the process. I'm happy to say that the company was ultimately understanding and has refunded the deposit, but the communication from leadership empowered to do so was lackluster. As we canceled the contract, this review cannot reflect the full value or quality of the solar project. We do intend to revisit a solar installation in the future.

They do not service my area

They gave me a quote. After contacting them I was told they don't service my area. Then why given me a quote?

Amazing experience

Offgrid helped me get a new roof and solar all tied together and made a simply easy process. Everyone communicated very well through our project and love the look of our roof with the solar
