BuiltMX

I contracted with BuiltMX August 2023 for solar panels and a Generac system. The project manager changed during this transaction. While discussing the date of PTO, I asked when the Generac would be installed. The new project manager seemed surprised and said he would get back. When he got back he admitted the omission error and offered to refund $6,000 in place of installing the Generac. I declined and said that I wanted to execute the original contract. BuiltMX sent out a Generac installer to get an estimate. Following conversations revealed that they made an error in their estimation. They offered $8,000 refund at time of PTO if we would sign an addendum to remove the Generac from the contract. We agreed and signed the addendum. The PTO (when solar system is up and functioning) was April 2024. No refund has been received. All contact points are no longer functioning and BuiltMX no longer has a valid contractor license due to a cancelled bond. BuiltMX is an unscrupulous company.

I worked with Prat to get solar and have enjoyed the experience. He is very attentive and responsive. He made the entire process easy from start to finish.

I am amazed on how the installers climbed onto my new 2 story home and safely installed our solar in one day. BuiltMX keep us in the loop the whole way and have continued to answer our questions.
