He was exceptionally communicative, answering all my questions, keeping me updated at each step, and making sure every detail—from the site assessment to the final activation—was handled properly. Jake at Gold Path Solar was very responsive and helpful during my initial process of learning about rooftop solar, asking lots of questions, and thoroughly explained the financial and technical aspects of my project, as well as the process from start to finish. Shading is a tricky but important factor in the design of a solar installation, and he worked with me to optimize the modeling to determine the layout with the best production potential (subject to an upcoming site visit). I like the company's customer-centric business philosophy (including post-installation), patient sales approach, and their depth of experience. They are a local company with in-house design expertise and installation crews. They handle any service issues as well, and have a 25 year installation warranty. And they are using premium panels and inverters. Although the opportunity to take advantage of the tax credit had passed, I found the economics are still pretty compelling for solar (in addition to the environmental benefits). I can't speak to financing since I am paying cash. Their pricing was quite competitive with other experienced, local companies using high-quality components.

After much research, we decided to use Gold Path as our Solar delivery partner and we couldn’t be happier. Energysage led us there. Gold Path is owned and operated by Jake Trubiano. From inception to final inspection and beyond, Jake was actively engaged. We spoke directly with Jake on numerous occasions. He answered ALL of our initial and follow-up questions, advised us on all available equipment and manufacturers, fielded all of our concerns and managed everything from initial survey through final inspection with expediency and professionalism. Jake still checks in on us. There is nothing we were dissatisfied with in the experience, and the end result exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. We give Jake and Gold Path Solar our highest recommendation. If you’re thinking about Solar, do yourself a favor and call on Gold Path.

Gold Path Solar gave me an excellent experience. They pricing was very competitive, but they sold me on the quality of service and warranties. Alex was very easy to work with and answered all my questions throughout the process. They sent a tech out before install to verify some measurements, and to check the condition and of the roof and electrical panel. It took about a month and a half from contract signing to installation. The installation crew was very friendly and was mindful of my property. The only issue we had, was some missing materials, which one installer was able to go back and pickup the materials same day to not interrupt the install. The installation was clean and well done. The install crew tested the system to check proper function before leaving. After the install, it took a couple weeks for an inspector to come and approve the installation. Then another couple weeks for AEP to switch my meter to bi-directional and give me the green light to turn on the system. The system has been on for approximately 2 months now. So far the system has met or exceeded my expectations. I have not had any issues with the system or app functions. I would highly recommend Gold Path Solar for your solar panel system.

Apon contracting Gold Path Solar, my experience has been an excellent one. Financing was quick and painless. All questions I asked were addressed in a timely fashion. Adam Hay kept me updated with an almost exact time table. The crews that were sent out to install my solar system were truly professional, very informative, very meticulous and took extreme pride in their work.
