It was an absolute pleasure working with Excited Energy. Extra shoutouts to Krista for the initial discussion which was refreshingly focused on informing and understanding needs (rather than try to sell a product) and Kris who was wonderful to work with at each stage of the project. Even when there was a hiccup along the way, it was handled professionally and he made sure everything was made right in a way that you don't always see nowadays. And when the team was here installing the solar+battery, there was a contagious sense of trust and camaraderie between Kris and his team that speaks volumes to how a company is run. I've been dreaming of a solar-powered future since I saw a PBS special about a solar-powered car competition when I was 12 years old. I got curious and reached out to Tesla solar a couple years ago, but all I got was a sales pitch and relentless pestering follow-up. Now at a new house with a HUGE south-facing roof, I was curious again but wanted to have a real conversation about pros, cons, details, and specifics. Kris delivered in spades. Together we designed 3 different system options, seeing exactly where the panels would go and how much power we could expect them to generate versus how much power we have used and expect to use in the future. We discussed tax credits, financing, and different ways to calculate value. While I haven't pulled the trigger on installing the system yet, there is no question that I will work with Kris and his team when we're ready.

Save yourself a lot of grief and just work with Excited Energy from the start. I learned the hard way that you need a solar specialist like Excited Energy to do your install, or in my case fix the failed install I had been left with. Kris went over an above and rather than just getting my system working went through it, panels to main breaker fixing numerous problems along the way. I'm now confident that the system is not only working but safe.

Kris is a master at explaining solar. He is the main reason I now have solar on my home. After speaking with him, I felt like I finally understood how not only a solar installation would proceed but also the workings of the panels and inverter. He is the first person to use the phrase "future proofing" with me and you should ask him how it might apply in your situation.
