We installed a large 58 panel rooftop system with batteries. The work Sisu did was excellent guiding us through the various options. I liked working with a smaller company rather than a large impersonal company. The owner of the company Erick (Rickey) Sipila was always very responsive.

I DIYd the installation of my solar equipment with the help of Rickey and Aaron from SISU. I installed the pv panels with microinverters on a ground mount and SISU did the install of the batteries, controller, combiner box, meter box and emergency S/D switch. I did the system commissioning. My experience with SISU was second to none. It was great to have their expertise on site when I had questions. They went above and beyond to help me be successful. After they were done on site, Rickey was available by phone or email to help answer any questions I might have. If I ever had to do another solar install, I wouldn't hesitate to use SISU again! We had an excellent experience getting our solar system installed by Adam and his crew at Sisu Solar. We did not experience any high-pressure sales tactics when meeting with them for their proposal and they answered all of our questions about the system and installation clearly and to our satisfaction. Adam provided a local install reference at my request that helped reassure us of their competence and professionalism before signing the contract. They accommodated our preference for routing conduit through three separate attics even though it meant more preparation work for them, resulting in a clean look on the roofs. Once approvals were obtained from the city and Xcel, they completed the install promptly and efficiently. Communication was excellent throughout the process. We are now looking forward to experiencing our energy savings!

Sisu Solar took the time to understand what I wanted to achieve with my system. While the local power company tries to cap solar systems at 120% of historic demand, I knew that wouldn’t work as I had just purchased an EV. We worked together to design a system that would support my home, EV and provide full power back up in the case of an outage. At just over 20kW with a 15kWh battery back up, it is a large installation. The team was super friendly and did a good job cleaning up the yard at the end of every day on site. Post installation support has been very good as we worked through a minor issue with communications within the Enphase equipment.

Sisu Solar was simply the best to work with for our 16.5 kW rooftop solar system. I gave them a call last spring to discuss my options to install a system in 2025, and they were professional and generous in their time to walk me through the entire process. Our installation was seamless. Rickey and his team got our install done almost a month ahead of schedule. Rickey was also open to working with solar panels that I provided myself - although we did not end up doing this option, his adaptability and flexibility was really appreciated and a big plus of Sisu. Our solar system is performing wonderfully and Rickey is always available to help with any questions that come up regarding our system via a quick text or phone call. I am glad I worked with Sisu Solar for this amazing customer experience and expert solar install skills. Rickey and his team are honest, never pushy, and trustworthy and I am grateful to have them as a long term resource to come back to throughout the life of our solar system. I would recommend Sisu Solar to anyone who wants to install a solar system and have a great, trustworthy installer to work with.

The crew dealt with rocky ground that made the installation challenging. They overcome the situation and clearly exhibited toughness, dedication, and grit to complete the project. The crew definitely lived up to the term "Sisu". Highly recommend them.
