I had a great experience and highly recommend Absolute Solar. Their communication was excellent, as was their product knowledge. They were on time with their project start and completion dates, as well as each of their visits. Their installation was friendly and professional, and they did a great job!

Absolute Solar installed solar panels on our home in 2019 and and additional panels and a level II EV charger in 2023. The work was done promptly and efficiently. We discovered Absolute Solar in Lansing MI by word of mouth. We had looked at a few solar larger companies that advertised in multiple places, but when we followed up on Absolute Solar we discovered a company that had been installing solar in Lansings municipal buildings for a few years already, and add that to the multiple personal recommendation of local Lansing-ites , we felt confident about asking them to do our solar. Being perfectionists, we took a long time to learn and make all the decisions that would best suit us, and Pete at Absolute patiently walked us through, step by step, advising us when we sought to take a wrong turn, and email after email after email we ironed everything out to the perfect plan. We love our solar system, having had it almost a year now, it has faithfully served us. Solar is not real exciting in MI in the middle of winter, but it sure is an adventure the rest of the year. We have the Enphase system to keep track of everything our panels do, every minute of the day. We did not get a very large set up, but we aren't huge energy users either. Our utility bills are usually next to nothing now (and sometimes nothing!) . The employees and tech personnel at Absolute were very communicative and knowledgable, and they discussed with us the process as the panels went up and the battery was set. An educational experience all around. And because we do pay income taxes, the 30% tax credit for solar installs was great. We feel very good about using clean energy, using a MI solar company, and sending the excess electricity that we produce back into the utility grid for others to use. Thank you Absolute Solar.

After evaluating 6 solar companies in 2022, we contracted with Absolute Solar to install a 16-kW system of solar panels, a 15-kW inverter, modular and expandable battery storage, and an EV charging system. We also have an electric geothermal home heating/cooling system and a heat pump water heater. Absolute Solar's contracting, work with the utility, installation and post-installation support have all been outstanding. Since installation, our electric bills are <10% of what they were in the summer and about 1/3 of what they were in the winter, even here in Michigan. We have generated 19 megawatts of electricity in the first 16 months and reduced our carbon emissions by 19 tons.
