I purchased two Enphase Encharge batteries from Solstice Solar two years ago. Prior to my experience with Solstice, I had purchased a solar system from another Solar Contractor that went under and was not answering any of our calls. The difference between Solstice and my previous installer was day and night. I've stayed in touch with Ahmmad and Sam ever since; they've been extremely patient and have earned all my referrals ever since. Great guys.

Our roof only fit 22 panels which covers us at around 80% of our annual needs. We ended up pulling the trigger to take advantage of the tax incentive and have now had our system for a little over a year. Ahmmad and his team exceeded all our expectations, highly recommend these guys if you’re in Galveston.

We had hoped our solar project would start and wrap up by the end of 2023. With the holiday right there at the end and the need to collaborate and coordinate both communication and work across 5 separate groups. We were not able to make it happen. It’s been quite a journey and I never would have realized what was involved had we not made the decision to try and perhaps do our part to leave the world a little better place for our grandchildren. As I told my wife we aren’t going to have much impact but I won’t to know that we tried. The start of the project was making the decision to roof or not roof our home. In the end since we only had 5 to 6 years of a 30 year roof left, we bit the bullet and forked over the cash to have it done. To have it roofed later and the panels removed was going to be an added expense. In addition we had a vent relocated from the South side (prime real estate for panels) of the roof to the West side. Since we were new to solar power we relied heavily on the help from Solstice Solar (our installer). I can’ say enough good things as they basically held our hand through the process up to the completion of the project at the end of Jan. 2024. The lines of communication with Solstice Solar were mostly through Ashley M. who helped keep the process rolling and answered many of our questions. Also a big thank you to Matt McConnell our consultant from Colorado who was instrumental we probably wouldn’t be here today had it not been for his knowledge in all things solar.
