Leviathan is a small, local business, and their survey and sales team provided clear, step by step explanations that made the solar process far less intimidating. Their willingness to walk through details and answer questions offered real comfort while navigating an unfamiliar experience. The installation team was professional, courteous, and detail oriented, delivering a clean, well-executed installation that reflected pride in their work. It’s also important for customers to understand that weather plays a major role in installation timing. Rain or other precipitation can cause delays, and in those moments, extreme patience is essential. These delays are unavoidable and necessary to ensure safety and quality. Finally, when working with a smaller company, communication may occasionally lag. Customers shouldn’t hesitate to ask questions or follow up, as sometimes keeping everyone fully abreast can fall through the cracks and a reminder is helpful. Overall, with patience and engagement, Leviathan Solar proves to be a solid and trustworthy solar partner, and I would highly recommend them to the next customer considering their services.

I had an excellent experience with Leviathan Solar. They recently installed an 11.18 kW system on my home, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Matthew McAuliffe was fantastic to work with - always responsive, patient, and willing to answer all of my questions. Unlike many companies that felt pushy or overly salesy, Matthew was the complete opposite. It genuinely felt like talking to a friend who wanted to guide us toward the best system for our home. While other companies were price-gouging or offering lower-quality equipment (string inverters, low quality panels, etc) with the tax credit ending in 2025, Matthew provided a fair price with high-quality materials and honest guidance. He walked us through every step and was always accessible when we needed him. Every deadline was met well ahead of the estimated timeline, which was a huge bonus. Their inspector, Damien, was incredibly thorough—he actually went into the attic, physically onto the roof, and checked the main electric panel to assess everything properly. Other companies gave us only a quick, superficial drone inspection, so this level of detail really stood out. The installation team, including Josh and Travis, did an outstanding job. They were respectful, professional, and delivered a very clean install - the conduit is barely noticeable, which was a big concern for us. Josh also took care of a few small fixes that came up during the install at no additional cost, showing how much pride they take in their work. Overall, we’re extremely impressed and highly recommend Leviathan Solar to anyone considering solar for their home.

Best of all is Leviathan's approach to planning the job. The engineer was the first person we met; he crawled through the attic on a terribly hot day, checked our panel, and the condition of the roof. We received a quote within a few days with no extra prep work required. Perhaps we live in a town that is quick to process permits. The turn around was so quick we were stunned. We were given a quick date and time slot. The three installers came early one afternoon and set up the racks and the interior wire connections in the attic. They were here early the next morning to place the 19 panels and work on the electric service. They were quiet, efficient, polite, and happy to answer questions. We had great communication with Matt and the office worker who picked up the deposit to speed the process along. Everything is working well - cannot wait to receive the reduced first bill from PSEG.

I got solar panels in June. The whole thing was pretty easy, it was done in one day and I have been saving lots of money. Even adding the solar loan with my bill I pay less than I did without solar. I def recommend.

I found Leviathan Solar by submitting my info to Energysage. I was previously speaking with another company that my friend used for his house. My friend's company couldn't get REC solar panels, which I wanted, and Leviathan gave me a less expensive quote. I have been looking into getting a solar system since my friend got one in Jan 2013. I got quotes in seven of those years. I kept putting off getting a system since 2013 because I was trying to increase my electric usage and wait for the technology to improve. I finally bought a 22.54 kW solar system from Leviathan (49 REC panels on all six sections of my roof), which was installed 8 days ago, two weeks after I signed an agreement. I wanted a system with REC panels and Enphase micro inverters. I’m glad I got REC because it was generating a lot of power during a storm when it was overcast and raining all day. I got a quote from the company my friend used, a quote from another company through Enersage, and one from Leviathan. Leviathan had the best price and was also able to install REC panels. I only wanted REC panels, but they were hard to get because the REC factory had a fire. I spoke with Matthew McAuliffe at Leviathan. Matt was a pleasure to deal with. Matt is very knowledgeable about solar systems and put up with dozens of calls I made with many questions, even after business hours. If I left a message, he always called back immediately. If I sent an email, he always replied immediately. Leviathan’s installation crew was equally impressive. Their crew has been doing installations for many years and is very knowledgeable and clean. They planned the installation to keep the conduit out of sight and spent extra time to route the conduit so it’s 100% out of sight. I have an expensive, complicated roof, and I was initially concerned about the look of the system on my roof, but it’s not very noticeable, and no conduit is visible, so I’m very happy. The installation took 2.5 days, and the system was working when the installation was finished. The inspector was here yesterday and said the PSEG inspector will be here in a few days.
