Aspire Solar

After working with four companies through EnergySage to get detailed quotes, we chose Aspire Solar to install our solar and battery system. We are very glad we did and we will happily hire them again for future upgrades! If you are looking for a partner you can trust and who will listen and install the system you want, go with Aspire. From start to finish they worked with us as partners, carefully considering our requirements and delivering on everything we asked for. We chose Aspire in part because of Luke’s (the owner) background in roofing. This was important because the panels were to be installed on unusual surfaces, both clay tile and flat roof. His very skilled team did an excellent job. The work passed inspection with no changes and after many heavy rainstorms we have seen no evidence of leaks whatsoever. The quality of the work went well beyond the roof. Our system included a SPAN smart electrical panel and the installation lead worked for hours replacing our old panel with this new one, carefully and cleanly routing every wire. After the installation was complete and we had paid in full, Aspire has not wavered from support. While the installation went perfectly, there were configuration issues stemming from our multi-vendor (Enphase, Franklin, and SPAN) design. On more than one occasion Luke himself drove over an hour from Wesley Chapel to be on site while working with the vendors to troubleshoot and correct the problems which, on the whole, were minor.

Aspire was a great partner throughout my solar project. I had already installed solar at a previous home, so I came into this project with a good understanding of rooftop solar and what to expect. From the beginning, Luke demonstrated a real depth of knowledge and expertise. What I appreciated most was that the sales process felt much more like education and exploring options than a hard sell. He took the time to understand my needs and helped me find the system that made the most sense for my home. Once I settled on a system, I worked with Raymond, the Aspire Project Coordinator, and his service was exceptional. He clearly explained what to expect, provided regular status updates, and stayed on top of every detail all the way through final approval from my utility. He was responsive, proactive, and always willing to answer questions. I was also pleasantly surprised by how efficiently the installation went. The crew completed the entire installation in just one day, and they followed up afterward to make sure everything was operating properly. Even after the utility approved the system, the Aspire team continued to check in to make sure the app was working correctly and that I was happy with the system's performance. It's rare to find a contractor that seems genuinely invested in their customer's experience from the initial sales conversation through project completion and beyond. Aspire delivered that kind of experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering solar, whether you're new to solar or, like me, already have experience with it.

I've wanted solar since moving to Florida two years ago. Well, in the past few months, I found the time and money to devote to the project, so I first started by doing the math on cost, ROI, and savings. It was a no brainer: our residential solar system is going to break even in 10-12 years resulting in 13-20 years of nearly free energy. Then I started searching for an installer. I checked out 4-5 installers. There are some to avoid, and there are some offerings to avoid (e.g. leased solutions; go with loan or cash IMO). However, there are a few really good ones. EnergySage does a great job vetting companies because they all seem really solid. It was a tough decision; most are very competitive in pricing. I had to base my decision on the confidence I had in the installer, the solution, and the process. For these reasons, I went with Aspire Solar. Luke with Aspire Solar is the most knowledgeable installer. He knew the most about the technologies and products. He was a great communicator and explained how to navigate the regulatory requirements really well (e.g. permitting, insurance, utility provider agreements, etc). From accepting the bid to turning on net metering, he kept me informed throughout the entire project. He even shared his own personal experience as a solar user. Just a heads up, there was quite a bit of waiting, but the delays were never on Aspire. A few steps can take a few weeks like county permit approval or TECO accepting the net metering contract. However, Aspire completed their tasks the same day they arrived. And the guys installing the equipment were polite and professional. They did really great work too. The system looks clean and solid; no corners cut. I am excited for and satisfied with our solar system. It provides my house with resilient, cheap power. We will be saving hundreds of dollars per month. I am confident that the system will run for decades, and I will choose Aspire for any future solar and energy projects.

I'd like to consider myself an educated shopper but when it came to solar I was a total novice before engaging Aspire Solar.
