We signed an agreement on 8/21/25, with a clause stating that PTO will not be later than 270 days from contract signing. ELAV8 requested payment before the end of the year so we could possibly qualify for the expiring tax credit, and we were fools to believe them. Now they have over $37k of our money, we have nothing to show for it (no equipment has been installed to-date), and they are in breach of their own contract. We believe they have been acting in bad faith the entire time as they will not respond to any emails we send to them.

We signed a $46,786 contract with a written guarantee that our solar installation would be completed by December 31, 2025 to qualify for the 30% federal tax credit. One of the major reasons we purchased this system was to supply power to two homes on our property. The company failed to meet the guaranteed deadline. Alabama Power denied their interconnection submission due to technical errors, and Permission to Operate was not granted until April 17, 2026—108 days past the guaranteed date. Because of this delay, we permanently lost the $14,035.91 federal tax credit and our loan payments increased by $131.45/month for 284 months. We were also never told that the system would not operate during outages, which was a significant factor in our decision to install solar. During the legal process, multiple attorneys who reviewed our documents expressed concerns about the competency and consistency of the information provided by the companies involved. Communication between the companies was inconsistent, and we received contradictory statements about installation, tax credits, and system capabilities. Based on our experience, the process lacked transparency, accuracy, and follow‑through.

It’s been three months since I paid to have a battery added to an existing solar setup and Elav8 has yet to even submit an application to Georgia Power that doesn’t have errors. They took six weeks to submit one at all, then did it incorrectly and have been struggling to fix it for the last month. I can’t get a solid answer on why they took so long in the first place or why they don’t seem to know how to work with this power company. I have no ETA on completion of the project (which was supposed to be done by the end of 2025!) despite bouncing between contacts, including (supposedly) the owner. Grayson was great to work with, but it sounds like his team failed him in actually getting the project off the ground.

I really appreciate Grayson taking the time to meet with me and help educate me on our solar needs, how the systems work, and what particulars we should be considering for our system. He was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and professional. The quote was competitive with the others we received and he happily made adjustments based on our preferences so we had all the info at our disposal when we made our decision. Ultimately we went with another company due to the differences in their in-house financing options, but it was a tough call and I will definitely recommend Elevat8 to anyone I know looking to get solar.

I have nothing but great things to say about Grayson. He worked with me for both my home & my business. Of course the business process was more lengthy but the process went exactly as described with great communication through the entire of said process. I highly recommended working with Grayson, he took great care of me as he will you!

Grayson was nothing short of a pleasure to work with. Every expectation he set, he followed through on or made sure to communicate a change in expectation in a timely manner. Very happy with our system over the last couple years… Duke minimums almost every month! Would work with him again for future homes!
