Nothing but problems

Have had since 2014. Have had nothing but problems with our unit. It has not ran a full year cycle without needing work done it. Hydron has not stood behind their product, and whenever an issue comes up always deflect it to someone/something else besides their faulty product.

Horrible Product

We’ve had the Hydron geothermal for eight years; installed new in our new home. We’ve spent $4500 in repairs and now face another $5000+ in repairs. The HVAC contractor is at my home every other year repairing something and of course all parts are out of warranty. Do not install a Hydron product.

Do not vett contractors. Products are sub-par.

Company's products are worthless. We've had our system since 2012. Replaced three pumps and air compressor. Beware. They do not vetted their contractors and they have a high rate of turn over in the company. Do not go with this company of you ate looking for geothermal.

Unreliable

After approximately 5 heating seasons (not used for cooling purposes), we have had 2 leaks resulting in the loss of use of unit and about $350.00 worth of anti-freeze. The leaks have been associated with the flow switch mounting which appears to be a poor design, being butt -soldered to the internal manifold, resulting in leakage. When the system works, it works fine, but it is not reliable, needs constant supervision.
