Installed a climatemaster tranquility in 2018. Energy bill in the winter is about 20-30% less when compared to the electric heat we had before. AC is maybe 5-10% less. The problem is the frequency with which it needs service. Motherboard failed the first year ($85 service charge). Wires came loose in the second year ($85 service charge). Low pressure switch failed in the third year ($650 service charge). This is on top of paying for a service contract that involves a technician coming to the house twice a year to change the filter, and, evidently, do nothing else.

I was sold a sorry piece of shit and promised the moon I ended up with a turd that sits in my basement and doesn’t work 90% of the time what an absolute piece of shit and that’s it’s better points if you want a $10,000 boat anchor feel free to buy one but it will only cost you about 700 to 800 a month in electric to keep the pile of crap going

INSTALLED CLIMATEMASTER TRANQUILITY 27 GEO SYSTEM IN 2012--VERY EXPENSIVE INSTALL--SORRIEST EQUIPMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN--NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS SINCE DAY 1 AND ABSOLUTELY NO HELP FROM CLIMATEMASTER--ELECTRIC BILL MUCH HIGHER SINCE SYSTEM INSTALLED--STILL USING BETWEEN 700 TO 1,000 GAL GAS ANNUALLY WITH BACKUP FURNACE (THIS IS IN VIRGINIA WHICH IS NOT AN EXTREMELY COLD STATE)--WRITTEN SEVERAL EMAILS TO CLIMATEMASTER CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A REPLY--DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T EVER USE ANY OF THEIR EQUIPMENT--YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY--THE HVAC COMPANY WHO INSTALLED THE SYSTEM DOES NOT SELL CLIMASTER EQUIPMENT ANYMORE--THAT SHOULD SAY ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW--I WOULD LOVE TO SUE THEM FOR SUCH SORRY SYSTEM AND SERVICE, BUT COST IS PROHIBITIVE
