Very pleased we chose to work with Evoke solar for our PV system. Everything went smoothly from the paperwork to the install! The equipment they use is top notch. Wes and the team put over 11kw on our roof in one day.

My wife and I are very pleased with Evoke Solar. We just had our wrap up meeting with Rachel and just like every other interaction, her friendliness and competency are just a breath of fresh air. We have spoken with several members of their team and every single one of them has been nothing but professional and kind. There was no high pressure rush to sign up with them and once we did, we were treated with excellent communication throughout the process.

From start to finish, Wes and the rest of the staff at Evoke Solar couldn't have been more delightful to deal with. Our entire 10 KW ground-mounted system was installed in one day!

All Evoke employees are professional, responsive, fast, and very knowledgeable about all things solar. Any questions we had were answered and dealt with quickly via phone and/or email.

I’ve waited for reviewing my residential solar power project until one full year had passed since installation. The system is based upon the solar panels from SunPower Corp. Evoke Solar Inc. provided the overall solar power design, components (primarily from SunPower Corp.) and system implementation. Chestnut Ridge Electric provided the electrical bus work. I waited one year for (1) to verify no fledgling failures were occurring and (2) to check on/verify predicted performance. I must say that everything has come through just fine. Evoke Solar’s sales team listened very attentively to what I wanted from a Solar Power system, patiently working me to resolve/accommodate all my concerns. Evoke Solar’s technical staff provided the most effective design/cost among the three bids from suppliers that I had solicited. Evoke Solar’s administrative staff provided the necessary support and guidance for the permits, etc. and arranged for all approvals and coordination with my electric utility company (They even helped set me up for taxes/rebates, selling excess power, etc.). Chestnut Ridge Electric installed all the electrical transmission bus/wiring in a very conscientious manner to minimize wiring exposure and maximize reliability. Evoke Solar’s crew installed the power components and system implementation in a caring, quality way -- they really cared about ensuring that I had a good system (In one case, they were not happy with how the wireless monitor was working at my particular home/location, so they installed a better/later model than what the contract called for -- at no extra cost). In sum, Evoke Solar and Chestnut Ridge Electric took me through the maze of all this – and calculations for sun angles, etc. proved to be right on the mark -- resulting in a system that performed with power output for the year as designed/proposed. WELL DONE, EVOKE SOLAR, CHESTNUT RIDGE ELECTRIC, and SUNPOWER!

I hired Evoke Solar Inc. for my solar system after my son had them install his system in Feb of 2019. He was very satisfied with them and did all the legwork, so then I didn't have to! They did a great job through the whole process, and it's quite a process, but no worries since they work through the whole process and keep you informed all the way. They take care of all the necessary paperwork, permits, engineering requirements, etc. needed for the installation. Due to all that's required it takes a bit of time so patience is needed! Whenever you have to go through multiple organizations to set things up that should be no surprise! Evoke has the expertise and the personnel to get the job done. My system was installed on March 18th, 2020, but due to the coronavirus there was a bit of a delay in activating, which happened on April 3rd. Normally it's a lot quicker, like for my son it was only a few days. My system size is on the small side, with 14 panels and a 5.04KW rating. My sons system is a 24 panel, which he's going to be upgrading to a 32 panel system. Evoke can install a wide variety of systems, both roof mounted and ground mounted depending on the site and electric requirements. If you are thinking of going solar give Evoke Solar a call. They'll give you a free estimate and tell you if solar is right, or not right, for you and answer any questions that you may have. Evoke has delivered what appears to be a very quality product. We did extensive research and everything they represented appeared to be true. All of the people we talked with were very friendly and professional. The only reason I did not give five stars is that communication was a little scattered. We talked with multiple people during the experience and I was not sure who the point of contact was for different questions. I would have like one point of contact for everything. Also, the timing of the project took a little longer than estimated. However, I feel we got a quality product from a quality company.

My experience with Evoke has been very pleasant. After initially meeting with another company that was really pushing renting the panels from them instead of outright purchasing, we then met met with Wes Checkeye and decided to purchase our panels with Evoke being the installer. He explained that the SunPower panels were highly recommended and probably the best route to go. We decided in October that we would move forward with our solar project. Since our township required a formal variance hearing for solar installation we were possibly delayed a little. But after the variance was approved things moved forward quickly. Wes and the folks from Evoke really understand what they are doing and took care of dealing with our township and with PPL. A scheduled date in early February was set up. The weather cooperated and by the end of the first week of February we were up and running with solar electricity production! All inspections were taken care leaving no headaches for me. I did have several questions throughout the process; but Wes and Evoke gave me the answers I needed in a timely fashion. If you are considering solar electricity, please contact Wes and Evoke. I highly recommend them!

I HAD BEEN CONSIDERING SOLAR POWER FOR YEARS AND WAS REFERRED TO EVOKE SOLAR IN HELLERTOWN PA BY A COLLEAGUE. EVERYONE THAT I NEEDED TO INTERACT WITH WAS COURTEOUS AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE PROJECT RAN SMOOTHLY FROM OBTAINING PERMITS, TO SITE ASSESSMENT, TO INSTALLATION OF THE GROUND ARRAY. EXCELLENT FOLLOW UP. I am very happy with Evoke. I looked into numerous solar companies and evoke was the best by far. The customer service was easy and they were always there to help with all the questions I had before, during, and after the installation. Everyone in the office was friendly and willing to help throughout the entire process. Evoke did the majority of the work associated with getting solar panels, which included getting permits, dealing with the electric company and helping us find a loan company. Having Evoke deal with these parts of the process was definitely helpful and made the process so much easier. On installation day everyone was professional and did a wonderful job.

Very good experience with evoke. Have been considering solat for some time. No pressure from the start. No hard sell. If you’ve had house work done, you know how pushy some sales people can be. Total opposite from evoke. Made their presentation and answered all my questions. Responsive to my follow up calls. Had system installed and flipped switch a few months ago. Haven’t had an electric bill since. All workers were professional. They continue to be responsive with any questions even though all work is completed

I knew quite a bit about solar design and installation going into this, and I heard some questionable sales pitches (pushes!) and saw some bogus system designs from other vendors.
Evoke was right on the money with their system design, offering a choice of two solutions for our house. In order to stay within our budget we went with the smaller capacity system. The SunPower mini-inverter panels are top of the line and Evoke ‘s workmanship is impeccable (despite the fact that they wear some funny hats when installing)!
We signed the contract in June and generated our first day of electricity in September!
I will use Evoke again to enlarge our system and integrate an Energy Storage solution in the future when the price of batteries comes down a bit.

Evoke solar was top notch from start to finish. Their quote was better than other companies in my area (Milford, PA). Their solar panels are highly efficient. They have 15 yrs experience, so they totally know what they are doing. They were very professional and knowledgeable.....and their whole team is very likeable. I recommend very highly.

This is not a review of solar in general. I am too new to it to be sure that I love it, though I am happy to feel I am doing something for the environment. This is a review of Evoke Solar and it is not too early at all to say how happy I am with them. I contacted them two years ago with questions which they answered promptly and thoroughly even though it was clear at that point that I was only asking questions. This year I contacted them again and I now am a proud owner of solar panels on my roof. The whole process was painless for me. They made appointments and never missed one of them. They answered every question I had along the way with patience as well as complete information. Evoke is not the only company I spoke with but it was the clear winner for me and I have been nothing but happy with what they have done and how they conducted themselves doing it. The whole process, from start to finish went surprisingly fast and required very little from me. I am attaching a a picture of my roof. Because of the angle of my roof you can hardly see it from the ground.

On the recommendation of a co-worker w/ a SunPower system I contacted them who put me in touch w/ Evoke.
I was hesitant since my home inspector told me I had maybe 5-7 yrs before my roof needed replacing. But my co-worker told me to contact them anyway and have them check the roof. I submitted by info to SunPower who put in touch w/ Evoke.
Stefan contacted me on the phone within 48 hours and was very helpful and informative. When I explained I was only available on weekends he told me it wasn't a problem. When I explained my roof situation he told me it wasn't a problem. A through inspection of the roof and visual inspection of the electrical system would be conducted before any design phase would begin.
I made an appt for the following Sunday after church. He came out w/ information booklets and panel samples. After explaining how solar works and looking over my utility bills he left without the sales push. He insisted that I do addt'l research on solar before making a decision. I like it that there isn't a push to make a sale on the spot. Means they know they have a good system.
After doing some addt'l research and getting some questions answered we decided to pull the trigger. Once the contracts were signed and system was designed all the different aspects came into play. Permits, financing, work orders, etc. It was all very smooth and I was very impresed w/ how organized their entire operation is.
I signed the contract on June 14, 2018, financing secured within days, work permits submitted and approved within 14 days, system installed August 2018 and final approval rcvd on August 31, 2018. Even Evoke staff was amazed at the speed I rcvd my final approval. My co-worker in NY said it took him about 8 months.
I can't say enough about Evoke Solar. They are very well organized.
Since August 31, 2018 when my system was activated we have paid on average $16.62 during the non-heating months and $150 during the heating months. BTW I rcvd a check for $122.00 from PPL in May for the excess credit I had in my account due to the electric that was pushed back to PPL.
I love my system and Evoke Solar! Glad my co-worker told me to contact SunPower who put me in touch with Evoke.

They are with you every step of the process, honest & quality work. I choose them because they offered a competitive price and did not try to sell me a over priced system or cheap equipment to get my business. Evoke Solar accommodated my busy schedule with the installation and inspection dates. They did not rush the project, made sure all my questions were answered and needs meet. The owner Wes does the installs with his team and makes sure that his attention to detail is present at every project. I would strongly recommend Evoke Solar to anyone looking to get a Solar system installed.

Evoke was there during the entire process taking care of all the legwork for our system install. When it came time to install, the installation was quick and professionally done. They didn't even have to cut our asphalt driveway as they were able to tunnel under it to run the conduit saving time and money on blacktop repairs. The Sunpower system has been producing even MORE electricity than was originally projected. It's great to no longer have electric bills!

Evoke was thorough and professional. They answered all my questions, and the did a superb job in the installation. SO glad I chose them!

Stefan came to the house for a sales call. He is also one of the installers. I felt very comfortable with him. The whole team was just fantastic. I would go with them again.

I started my quest for solar in the spring of 2018. I chose to go with Evoke Solar Inc to compete the process. Wes & Roshelle Checkeye, Stefan, Dan, Courtney, Shelly, and the rest of the team will answer any question you have and walk you through the whole process of going solar. If they determine that your property is not viable for solar, they'll tell you and not sell you a system that's not going to work the way it should. I had my system installed Feb 19, 2019. I'm waiting for the final approval to go through after all the inspections, permits, interconnection agreements, etc were completed. The Evoke team handled all that and made the process go smoothly. I'm expecting to throw the switch this week, hopefully, and start producing my own electricity via the power of the sun:) A big t hanks to all the Evoke Solar Inc team for a job well done!!

The entire experience with Evoke has been great. Courtney, Roshelle, Dan, and Stefan have been great. They installed a wonderful system with even better customer service.

Evoke made the whole process of going solar really easy. I am very particular in respect to attention to detail and aesthetics, which is a big reason I choose Evoke. The system looks great and the whole team, Wes, Marc, Dan and Courtney were a pleasure to work with. The install team, led by Wes (owner), treated my home like their own! The sales person was very low key, not pushy at all. I liked working with a small local company. They offered me a choice of different solar collectors, unlike some companies that only sell one kind. I feel that I can easily contact them at any time if I need them. All of the employees at the company were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Dan in the office was always available by phone. I highly recommend them.

We were going to replace the shingles at our home, so we needed the solar panels to be removed and reinstalled. Since the company that installed them in 2008 was no longer in business we needed a new company to do this. We believe Evoke Solar gave us a fair price, but more importantly they did an excellent job. They were very quick to respond to our requests, made sure they scheduled the jobs around the time of shingle installation so we would have minimal number of days without the panels. Also, after both times, they immediately sent the pictures of the roof so that we will see what happened up there, including the removal of a squirrel nest. We will highly recommend them.

After more than 6 months of inverters not working and not being able to find anyone to fix my solar system (the company that installed no longer in business) Wes and his crew traveled some distance to fix my problem. What a pleasure to work with Evoke for my solar installation. The personal attention Wes gave the project could not have been better. Starting with the interview to determine a design to meet our objectives and providing several options with all the economics to the completion of the job the experience was outstanding. I have stumbled upon the name, Evoke Solar as I Googled to find a Solar Installer. The highly Energetic team of Wes/ Roshelle Checkeye were able to fix the Issues at both locations.
Now, we are in the market selling our SREC's through Knollwood Energy ( Gary Lakrowitz ).

Ron Celentano, the consulting engineer, spent hours assuring that the operating sequence was correct.
Rochelle wrote a great owner's manual.

I contacted Evoke solar in the fall of 2016 for possible ground mount solar system. They were the best company I found! Most companies won't even install ground mount systems. I spoke to First light energy and got nothing but voicemails and nobody would come to give quote, and Trinity solar doesn't do ground mounts so they were out.
I spoke to one of the salesmen named George and he was nothing but pleasant and straight forward. He gave me a price that included permits, plans, install and setup. Everything was included.. They even got me setup with financing with Sungage solar loan company. The loan was for 6.9% better than any local bank or credit card you would get for such an project.
Wes the owner came and looked at the property before the install and we setup the location of the panels about 200' from my house and the wires had to be installed in underground trench from house to panels. Wes and his wife were great with everything especially the building inspector who was not experienced with the ground mount system. After many weeks of back and forth engineer reports the system got installed in a few days.
All I can say is that the system works great, have no electric bill and also get solar renewable energy credits (SREC) every month which you sell and get money for (only on owner owned solar systems).
I would recommend Evoke Solar to anyone that wants a great solar system. If you are in the market for a ground mount system because your roof is shady or pointed in the wrong solar configuration, Evoke Solar is your company! Hunterdon County, NJ

Evoke Solar installed the second phase of our system a few years ago and it has operated flawlessly since then. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. We would definitely use them for any further upgrades or additions in the future.

Evoke Solar did a beautiful job installing and instructing my family on its works . Wes and his wife Rochelle were on top of the whole process and left nothing undone . The energy saving are the best part. Also they were very willing to come when we had a electric outage and restart the system . I evaluated about six solar installers, and selected Evoke Solar to be our installer. Wes, Roshelle, and Nate were great to work with, very competitive in price, and performed a very professional, high quality installation. We are very satisfied with Evoke Solar, and have recommended them to friends and neighbors interested in "going solar".

I first contacted EVOKE Solar to assist me with an existing SunPower system. I was adding on to my home and needed some solar feed-lines re-routed. Wes Checkeye (company owner) took care of the re-routing in one afternoon. I later decided to add another 6K of solar to my addition. Wes came out and gave me a very competitive price. He then started work on the plans and paperwork. When the addition was ready I notified Wes and the installation of my new system was completed in one day with Wes on the roof the whole time supervising his crew. All wiring was completely concealed within the new construction (no exposed PVC pipes). The other great thing about working with EVOKE solar is the office Manager Roshelle. She handled all the paperwork and permits and was able to answer every question. I decided to make my second system completely separate from the first for SREC purposes. This brought about more paperwork, but Roshelle handled it all perfectly. EVOKE solar is a quality Solar company run by knowledgeable professionals. I continue to recommend EVOKE Solar to those who want the very best.

We had several quotes for solar on our roof. In the end we ended up getting a 7.2 kW roof mounted system. Wesley and evoke solar were amazing they were by far the best company to work with, they were quick and efficient. Wes helped us navigate all of the paperwork and recommended installation options no one else even suggested. I highly recommendand. We have had our array for a year now and couldn't be happier.

Evoke Solar installed a 12.42kw system consisting of 36 SunPower 345w panels on the roof of my home last summer. They used SolarEdge technology for the inverter and to optimize and monitor each panel.

The system has been cranking out power, and I love being able to monitor generation on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis with the SolarEdge app. I pruned a tree in the backyard and saw the difference on a panel that was being shaded.

I met with 4 different solar installers before hiring Evoke. I knew SunPower was a premium product but I want my panels to last, and the warranty meant a lot -- not to mention the aesthetics of these panels, plus the high efficiency.

Wes was highly professional incredibly friendly, and as I met other companies and did research online, I grew to understand just how knowledgeable he was. He modeled out probably a dozen different approaches to our installation, including using other brands of panels, different Sunpower panels (315/365 I think), and helped me understand all the numbers and optimize the setup to get the most value.

He was easy to communicate with by email and text message throughout the process, and along with Roshelle, Evoke was patient with all my questions, and kept me informed throughout the permitting process.

The whole experience was really the opposite of the impersonal, corporate approach that many big solar installers employ. There was no hard sell, no strong-arm sales tactics and no misleading information -- I really felt Wes was helping me plan this project with the same directness as though I were a family member, or if he were installing solar on his own roof. In addition, he was friendly to my dog and my kids every time he visited, and he and his installation team were conscientious and respectful of our house and property, which included treading carefully around a basement refinishing project that was going on at the same time.

We hired a solar consultant and Evoke, and they worked with us and the consultant in a very professional manner. Ultimately, through no fault of Evoke, we were unable to install the battery backup, which would have been a very complex installation. Throughout, they made sure we were satisfied customers. And when the new battery system becomes available, we will use them to install it.
