I had a fantastic experience with Solar Optimum and would highly recommend them to anyone considering solar installation. From the very beginning, Argeesht Mirzakhanian , our sales coordinator, was outstanding—responsive, informative, and patient as he walked me through the entire process. He helped me navigate HOA approval, city permitting, and every detail in between, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The installation team was just as impressive. Harut, the install foreman, led a crew that was professional, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. Orbel also went above and beyond, helping me sort out a main service panel issue on my end. It’s rare to find a company that stays so involved and responsive throughout the process—even after the panels are up and running. The quality of work and materials was top-notch. Solar Optimum used high-end equipment, took great care to protect my roof, and mounted the panels with solid footings—not just nailed into the plywood. They also installed a Tesla Powerwall, and the setup was clean, efficient, and well-executed. Although I found Solar Optimum on Energy Sage, which also provided a very easy way to review and compare solar installation companies, a colleague of mine had also gone through Solar Optimum and had nothing but great things to say, which gave me even more confidence in my decision. Now that I’ve completed the process, I can confidently say they exceeded expectations at every step. If you’re looking for a solar company that delivers quality, transparency, and excellent customer service, Solar Optimum is a great choice.

Installation and permitting went well, SolarOptimum did a great job coordinating all aspects. They were available via email and text and followed up on all my questions. Local contractor did a great job and was available for any issues. System up is up running!!

Planning and permitting was easy. Installation over 2 days with limited delays from weather. Inspections and permission to operate were complicated because we have a generator for storm resilience and so already had a disconnect in the panel. They worked with the inspectors and TECO to get extra labels and meet the request so that we got permission to operate. Easy for us as the home owner. And now we have an app that lets us know how the net metering is going which continues to make it easy for us to be energy efficient and rely on solar.

Even though I decided not to go solar at this time, working with Jim at Solar Optimum was a great experience. He was personable and very knowledgeable on all aspects around solar, which was crucial for a newbie like me. Their pricing was also very competitive. Will definitely look into them again if I decide in the future to go solar.

Quote on the solar+battery installation over energy sage. Responses are pretty fast. The process is very smooth, Solar optimum helped to get permit applied and got approved very soon. Installation is smooth too, they also painted the tubes to the same color of the wall. Strongly recommended.
