Andrew and Marcus are awesome, bay area local, team! They were the only one who didn't try to get me to sign a contract immediately on the first phone call. Instead Marcus came over to inspect my 20y old roof and check that it won't need replacement any time soon. He walked me through all the options, got everything ordered and delivered in few days by the time plan got approved. They had everything installed the next day. The whole process took about two weeks. I highly recommend Sun America Solar!

Andrew Chung approachable demeanor was different from other solar sales individuals. He kept appointments no matter the day of the week or hour of the day. He thoroughly explained the process from purchasing, leasing, obtaining a loan and the installation of the our solar panels. He also carefully reviewed our average usage and explained the advantage of solar panels. Marcus Kirchen who was involved with the installation discussed the work required, the completion time and the required proceedure since our roof is a steel. Our solar panels have been installed almost two years now and we should be breaking even in a few more years. In short, we are satisfied with the work they did and will certainly recommend them to anyone interested in getting solar panels.

Sun America Solar installed my original 250W panels in 2015 and did a great job. My system has been operating exactly as advertised with no maintenance/cleaning. My energy needs have increased though, so I reached out to Marcus for help. He is super helpful and came out to my home to plan out the solar panel addition. His quote for work is reasonable and after setting an installation date, Marcus, Mark, and Matt installed the additional 380W panels. My system is producing more power now. The owners of this business are nothing but professional and extremely knowledgeable in their profession. There wasn’t a question I asked that they could not answer. We decided to go with the battery backup package with a Solar edge Energy Hub. I can now charge my vehicle and have power independent from the PG&E Grid. It took 2.5 weeks from me signing the contract to have my job fully inspected and running. The solar panel array also looks amazing on my roof. I am impressed at how smooth everything went.
