Northwest Electric and Solar’s mission is to modernize Washington State’s electrical infrastructure. Deploying renewable energy technologies to build a sustainable future where we control how we use, generate, and store our electricity.
Depends on the system size and complexity of the roof/installation. We provide care and quality for each installation and now two systems are the same. Nonetheless, small systems between 5-7 kW can take 1-2 days, 8-13 can take 2-3 days.
Please contact your project manager at Northwest Electric and Solar, we will be able to coordinate a service appointment and get your solar system back online!
Our workmanship warranty covers labor, installation, and roof penetrations for all of our residential solar energy systems. Equipment typically has it's own warranties and will help facilitate RMAs and reinstallation of any equipment under warranty.
Preliminary quote, updated quote, contract is sent and 10% deposit paid, site-assessment and 60% deposit paid to schedule and order materials, system is installed and final 30% of deposit is paid once system passes inspection.

Excellent experience

I contacted Northwest Electric and Solar for home solar panels based on a friend's recommendation. I was not disappointed- the turnaround time between when I initially emailed them and when my panels were installed and producing energy was barely a month. Fast, reasonably priced, and very conscientious.

Excellent Solar Power System Installer

I've had an excellent experience with Northwest Electric & Solar installing my 13KW solar panel power system. They were very fast to respond to my initial inquiry and designed and quoted a system to meet my needs in just a few days time. They were quick to answer my questions and also make minor changes to the original quote that I desired. The quote was competitive with other companies. They were able to hook me up with a local bank co-op that made it easy to get the system financed. We did run into parts availability problems and weather issues that delayed the installation beyond what I had hoped for, but they kept me informed and made some part substitutions (with my permission) to get the system installed. I was really impressed with the workmen that did the installation. They were very professional and I could tell that they cared about their work. They answered all questions I had and explained the system's operation thoroughly. I did have 1 out of 33 microinverters stop working a couple days after installation. Northwest Electric & Solar worked with me and the microinverter manufacturer to diagnose the problem. A new microinverter was installed quickly after satisfying the manufacturer that the part was defective. I have not had any other issues with the system and it has been working flawlessly since. They also carried through with a promise to install "skirts" on my solar panels as I originally desired even through the parts weren't available until several months after the original installation of the panels. I expect to add battery backup to my system in a few years and I will definitely use Northwest Electric & Solar to do that.
