Borrego Solar is one of the most experienced players in what’s a relatively young and fast growing industry. We provide a full suite of solar PV services for the commercial and wholesale distributed generation markets: development, design, EPC and O&M.

We’ve been designing and constructing systems since 1980, and have built up a portfolio of more than 1,100 projects totaling nearly 200 MW of solar capacity. We know what it takes to engineer, build and finance a system to meet our customer’s goals, while navigating complex policy and market dynamics that seem to change from year to year.

Borrego Solar consistently ranks in the top five nationally for largest providers of non-residential distributed generation solar energy systems. We specialize in working with customers representing educational facilities (K12 and Higher Ed), local and state governments, corporations large and small, water agencies and districts, commercial real estate developers and owners, independent power producers and investor owned utilities. We bring the most sophisticated engineering capabilities to the table and build ground mounts, roof mounts, carports, elevated shade structures, and tracking systems for our customers across the US.
