Great service

I had an amazing experience with my project coordinator Brandi Ramirez! She communicated and checked in periodically. Was very knowledgeable and answered any of my questions or concerns. I would recommend Axia by cells to anyone interested in Solar.

Very Bad Service

My solar power system by Qcells is working well, and I am pleased with it. However I cannot recommend doing business with Axia by Qcells; in fact I recommend that you avoid them. Dealing with them was quite unpleasant. Many times there seemed to be no progress on the project; and when I would ask for status updates I would get no response. My e-mails (about anything) were routinely ignored. When they finally installed the system, they provided me with no means of monitoring it. When I eventually was able to monitor the system, I discovered that it wasn't working; they had installed it incorrectly. When I contacted them about fixing it, they just blew me off. Eventually they did fix it, and it is now working well. From beginning to end, the project took nearly 7 months.

Still Waiiiiiiting after 6 months, but nice people

Axia and Qcells people are nice but that is the only thing I can say as of now. They don't communicate proactively, aren't coordinated internally and outsource most everything. It is largely a sales organization and project management is pathetic. Don't buy their story on implementation. I have done 5 house remodels and reconstruction, never seen this poor level of implementation. Their 'owned and integrated' team is anything but. There isn't a project management list, timeline, or proactive follow up. My project missed the summer, I had to escalate two layers and get personally involved to get things moving. And here we are 6 months later and system is not turned on because they missed a few things. Will know if the system actually delivers to its rated capacity and capability once it is on. SMUD or Sacramento City permitting was not an issue - that is often an excuse. Get a project plan with time lines and call weekly and get the names and escalate, don't wait, if you want results.

Still waiting!

We started this process in February 24. There have been nothing but delays and excuses. Here it is August 26,2024 still not hooked up! I have never, in my 70+ years, dealt with a worse company. I must admit they are good at dangling the carrot just enough to keep us from pulling the plug on this project. Now they tell me that they're having trouble with the contractor that puts the applications in with PG&E! Once again I am paying for there problems!

5 stars

Definitely 5 stars for our project manager Tiffiny, she was very communicative and responsive throughout the process and went above and beyond to make sure we understood next steps and that everything was taken care of. There was a moment when we were waiting on a roofing permit (we bundled a reroof with solar) and things were taking longer than expected but Tiffiny got to the bottom of it quickly and realized the roofing subcontractor had submitted our roofing permit incorrectly. Once she identified the issue, things moved along very quickly. Very happy with the outcome, thank you Tiffiny.

still waiting

had panels installed 03/23. still not connected to the grid.Greenretrofit didn't put in paperwork for pto. No one at Axia can tell me anything about whats going on. Axia puts blame it on Southern California Edison. Edison says they never put in the paper work. Axia has people scouring neighborhoods for sells. yet they aren't finishing the jobs.
