I've been waiting to leave a review hoping that things will turn around and the situation will get resolved. I can't even get any response from them anymore, no contact in 10 days on resolving an arc fault soft lockout error that occurred 13 days ago. I've texted, called, tried to schedule meetings - totally no response. I would definitely recommend staying away from GHS, they do not provide any customer service and have been a nightmare to work with.

I signed a solar contract with Green Home Systems on October 17th. It is now May 6th — nearly 7 months later — and I still do not have a fully functioning system. What follows is a factual, documented account of every broken promise, no-show, and lie this company has told me. Before you hire them, read this: Their website advertises CSLB License #1054222. I looked it up. According to the California Contractors State License Board's own website, that license is REVOKED. "This license is revoked and not able to contract at this time." They are advertising a revoked license to consumers. The license number actually on my contract is #1137897, which is valid — but the fact that they publicly display a revoked license number should tell you everything you need to know about this company. On Their "Support": Green Home Systems does not have a support team. They have one person named "Edward" who, based on my experience, has no authority or ability to actually resolve anything. He has lied to me — by my count — no fewer than 15 times. Either promising something he didn't deliver, going silent, changing the story, or simply not showing up. Every single person I spoke to at this company — Robbie, Jason, Edward — told me things that turned out to be false. The Pattern: They schedule. They reschedule. They no-show. Then they schedule again. They do not respond to calls or texts. They do not follow up. They do not take ownership. They drag customers along indefinitely hoping you'll give up. I haven't. I have 7 months of text messages, emails, and documentation. I am actively filing complaints with the CSLB (License #1137897), the San Diego County DA's Consumer Protection Unit, and the California Attorney General's Office. Do not hire this company. Whatever price they quoted you, the real cost — in time, stress, and a system that doesn't work — is far higher.

We signed a contract with them on 9/16/25. I have a voicemail saved from them that says 100% will be installed before 12/31/25 in order to get the tax credit. On 12/29/25 with no installation done, they advised us to pay full amount in order to get tax credit on full amount, which we did. (In retrospect, I should not have done this). We had solar panels delivered on 1/21/26. We were told there were issues getting microinverters approved on 2/10/26. Today is 5/5/2026. I have not had communication with them since 3/16/26. I attempted to contact them via email or phone on March 18, March 26, March 28, March 30, March 31, April 3 and April 14. I sent a letter via certified mail that was returned unopened on April 10. They did not respond to any of these attempts to communicate. We asked the The PA Office Of Attorney General to help intercede. They sent 2 letters to attempt to mediate. Green Home Systems did not respond. They have taken all of our money, failed to finish the install, and now are unreachable.

Contract was signed 8-2025. To date May 2 we now have roof ornaments that have been improperly installed and incomplete. The system still has not been finished. Final payment was complete December 2025. Now we are seeking legal counsel. No contact from the company to provide any response or resolution to this matter.

false promises with no intent to make good on what the contract says. my bank reversed the charged. so i'm not making this up. all they want to do is make money on the site visit and the bait and switch.

Promised up and down when I signed a contract that they would pay for the solar credit if they don't get the work done on time. Guess what... when they fell behind they told me I had two options: a) Commit fraud, and they promised they'll pay be if I got audited and rejected b) Otherwise they'll just cancel out of the contract, because by their logic if they never do the install they wouldn't owe me any money. Super dishonest company - stay far far away.
