Residential tech support

Having some difficulty managing the Sol-Ark system we called. Felipe Dos Santos answered. Without reservation we can say that this gentleman handled our inquiry with the kindest, most knowledgeable concern. We really felt that Felipe cared about us and our situation. Thank goodness for people like him. They seem pretty rare these days. Sol-Ark has to be congratulated for recruiting, training and empowering such a valuable resource. It makes the whole company look good.

I have zero complaints

I installed 2 parallel 15k SolArk inverters myself and even though sol ark have very helpful instructional information online to help install, there were many issues that came up, some caused by me and some caused by hardware/software. Every time I contacted sol ark customer service i was able to talk to a person within 60 seconds of calling and they were very helpful, thorough and solved my problem every time. They would even ask for picture of my install and provided recommendations to improve it. My house is now running completely off solar power for most of each day and Sol ark was a very big part in helping that to happen.

Solark Inverter- Problems with the Dongle

Inverter works on installation, however dongle has not been working since installation. I now need to find out if Solark will provide me with a replacement without any hassle. It's disappointing as I was so looking forward to monitoring it on my phone :-(

Based on one unit, the equipment is shoddy and support nonexistent

THe Sol-Ark was initially isntalled 2 months ago except for the (third party EG-4) batteries which were delayed. Initially the system worked flawlessly, wth the 14.5 kw panels feedng excess power back to the utility. however, 3 weeks into operation, the inverter stopped accepting more than 10.5 kw from the panels and a week later when thge batteries were finally delivered, the system shut down one leg of the power to the house as soon as they were connected, After a marathon phone session between the local tech and tech support it was deemed defective and needing replacement.... And now, a full month later, Sol-Ark cannot or will not even give us an estimated shipping date for the replacement despite repeated emails and calls.

System not working

I had a 7.5 system that worked flawlessly. Upgraded to a 15 which Ed worked them failed got a new unit on warranty. After over a year it still doesn’t work reliably. The system will randomly shut hard down requiring a restart or go offline then maybe restart then run for a few days then shut down. The tech guys keep blaming the batteries but my installer checked them while working with tech support. Today we were going to perform a drawdown test. The system had come back on and had stayed up for 4 days without problem. As soon as I disconnected the solar array with fully charged batteries the system immediately went hard down. 7 hours later I still can’t get it to start. The installer and I were on the phone with tech support and again they said it’s the batteries. Why would a system with fully charged batteries go hard down just by being disconnected from the solar array. We will hook up a whole new set of batteries for a test to once and for all rule out batteries. If it’s not the batteries I am gonna raise holy hell on Solark
