All the folks I interacted with from getting the quotes, chosing the design and system options, installation, permitting, etc were nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The process from beginning to end takes a couple months or more, but my system was installed and operational faster than I expected. Some delays in the process came from my side, my misunderstanding. Certasun reps were very understanding and helped me through the entire process. I got a few quotes from other solar installation companies and Certasun had the best finanacial bottom line for me. They told me about rebates/net metering options and educated me on the full amount of SREC and other tax credits I am entitled to and helped me to apply for all of them. Other companies failed in this regard. I strongly recommend checking out and going with Certasun!

Solar system is performing well, exceeding expectations. It has been one year since my solar installation, and electric consumption is 58% less than July 2024. My experience with CertaSun was the ideal experience. Navigating the complexities of the solar market can be confusing, and CertaSun made the entire process easy.

After nearly going with a large commercial rooftop solar company (that pulled out after they said my roof was too high), I was recommended to go with Certasun. Paul was extremely helpful in answering questions about the process, allowed me to understand and get all the useful tax credits, and the team who installed was professional efficient and came by and made adjustments when there were some connection issues. I found Certasun to be top notch from beginning to end. Attempting to work with Wisconsin based installers was a disaster. Ceratsun’s sales rep was knowledgeable, not pushy and listened carefully. I asked for a larger system to cover changes in future life style changes. That change came in March when I bought an EV and today, I’m pleasantly surprised that panels provide all the energy the car needs. The project manager I worked with was outstanding: very patient with my questions. While the total installation time was a little longer than anticipated, all great things take time. Certasun provided all forms for Wisconsin Focus on Energy rebates and federal tax rebates. When I compare the visual look of Sunpower panels to others in the area, I am more than very satisfied with the outcome. Thank you!

We used Certasun to install our Solar panels in fall of 2024, right before the regulations changed unfavorably in Illinois. They tried their best - and succeeded - in getting the job done on time which made a big difference. Additionally our project manager (Sally) was always very responsive to our concerns and with updates throughout the process. Now that the process is complete, Sally has given us some guidance re: rebates and tax benefits. We've been quite happy with our solar so far - nothing like electric bills that include nothing but the $15 a month cost of using the grid!

I shopped around for a solar provider and selected Certasun due to a combination of price and and their claims of taking responsibility for installation and renewable energy credits. I am happy to say that Certasun surpassed my expectations. As a homeowner, it was completely hands-off, Certasun took care of everything, even installed smoke detectors without charge when the village code changed and preemptively notified me and fixed an invertor issue a month or so after installation.
