Finger Lakes Renewables is a great local solar installer. I had talked to several larger solar installer in the Tompkins County area and they all made me feel like I just walked into a used car dealer. They were aggressively selling me things I didn't want, at really high prices. When I talked Bekah, the owner of Finger Lakes Renewables, I knew immediately that this is a company I want to work with. She walked me through all the details, permit applications, rebates, site planning, budget, panel selection as I was very picky about the panels, got me good prices on the panels that I wanted, and generally offered top class, honest, customer-first service. Her prices were very reasonable, inline with what I expected. The installation went smoothly. her crew was professional and efficient. The solar panels are working so well, I am more than happy with the result. I highly recommend Finger Lakes Renewables for solar installations. She also installs wind power, but I don't have a personal experience with that.

We have worked with FingerLakes Renewables for the past 15 years, including our initial solar array installation as well as upgrading our inverter when it had reached its end of life. They have always done high quality work; even when the manufacturers distributed slightly troublesome equipment, they happily replaced and fixed any problems. They also are very cost conscious, charging very fair prices for their work. Service is polite, trustworthy, and efficient. We have never had a complaint with their work.

I greatly appreciate Rebecca's knowledge of solar instalations and other options. She helps us pick out the right panels and instalations for us and our site. I also appreciate her flexibility in letting me work with her on the instalation to save us some money. The work did take longer than I expected. When we were ready to rewire to a new structure, Rebecca was easily available to help with the planning and work.
