American Solar has a busy non-profit department, which brings the benefits of solar to schools, houses of worship, and other non-profits in the area. To make it possible and even easy, American Solar offers a custom-designed financing model that enables non-profits to benefit from the 30% Investment Tax Credit they otherwise must forgo due to lack of tax liability.

American Solar's commercial department specializes in highly evolved solar systems in the 50—500 kW range, providing excellent returns and low cost of ownership through superior designs and component selection.
