EasTex Solar

When I found Eastex Solar I had talked to 3 other companies over the course of 2 years. Being a Financial Analyst I knew I had to educate myself on the entire landscape from brands, type of inverter, number of panels and so on. I could tell quickly this industry was rife with fraud and lies. I could not get my difficult questions answered from company to the next. I decided I needed to become a subject matter expert first, so I wouldn't be taken advantage of. I can say this company was beyond transparent and knowledgable. They are a family team with some additional non family employees. The solar brands and inverter they use are top notch. I proposed what my system would look like and in good fashion they would mention modifications or changes that ended up working even better. I feel bad for people because their is out right fraud occurring in the industry in which individuals are being sold systems $10-30k over what they should be. There are 2 things that are going to stand out along with the honesty and transparency. It's the products they use. Tier 1 panels. Most solar companies cannot obtain top tier panels. This company can. The other is the sales person was an installer. This stands out since most sales people never have owned panels or even a house to put them on. I'm currently running Solar, Battery Backup, and the inverter which is used for both. It really works! My house will run mainly battery backup the entire night. It is spray foamed house with a high seer HVAC unit. I still cannot believe the performance I get from the system. I will recommend Eastex Solar to all my friends and family. I had the install 4 months ago.

We had the pleasure of working with Eastex Solar (more specifically Reece) for our solar system. Reece listened to what we were looking for and answered all our questions. We were particular, to say the least, about the aesthetics of the system and Eastex Solar did great on the install and the solar system looks fantastic! Their team knocked it out quick too! It has been roughly a year since the install and we very pleased with how our energy bills have been looking, especially with the rates increasing. The solar system is still working great and excited to see what the future has in store. Pretty much maintenance free! Haven't had to do one thing as far as maintenance. We are happy we came across a local company that does a great job. They take pride in their work and it shows. Thank you Reece and Eastex Solar for the awesome solar system!

Cal, Reece and their guys are great! From the initial contact to the final installation and everything in between, they were great! Exceptional customer service! All of my questions were always answered timely along with explanation of the process. Xochytl was always so sweet to answer any questions I emailed her with. Highly recommend EasTex Solar!

When I started looking at SoIar I got quotes from Tesla and SunPower, the Tesla quote was really good until I found that it would not offset my usage and they really wont talk to you at all. It's very much take it or leave it and you don't have any choices. The SunPower quote seemed quite high and also they didn't seem to be able to tell me when they could install it either. Understandably, supply chain issues are cause all kinds of problems but I would rather know when I can expect an install instead of waiting anxiously. A co-worker suggested EasTex Solar, since I live in North Dallas I thought it might be a little far for them but it was no issue. The quote was really good, financing was also no issue and most importantly they listened to my input and got a few more panels on my roof. (Many fire departments require a roof offset for solar that limits placement). It was also important to me to get a plug for an EV charger in my garage, they were able to do this along side the solar install saving me the trouble of finding someone else to add the electrical plug. From signing the contract to fully powered on and ready to work everything took a few months. The communication was great the whole way and they handled everything for me. From city inspectors and ERCOT all coming together to give me a green light to turn my system on EasTex handled it all. I will note the Fire Inspector and City Inspector both said they were impressed with the system install. In talking to them they see poorly installed systems all the time and I'm glad they were both happy because I would hate to get to this point and have system that wont pass inspection or needs to be modified. In the end my system has been running for a few weeks and I have been watching it generate as much power as we will need to offset our usage. I'm confident the system will last 30 years or longer. The panels, the inverter and install were all top notch. A shoutout to Reece who has been wonderful getting everything together and answering all of my questions, Luke for doing all the hard electrical work and everyone else who helped install my system.

I visited with several solar vendors looking for a great company that was based in our state, discovering Eastex Solar which we highly recommend. Eastex's approach to business and their value of relationships provided us the reassurance that we could be first time solar users, with the confidence that we found a partner that would assist us through the full process. They came to our location for a site review and helped me understand how the equipment worked, educated us on the install process and shared their knowledge of which was of great value. This transparency and knowledge transfer made selecting Eastex Solar simply as we forged a relationship with Reece which we did not experience with vendors. Eastex Solar provided a great summary document which defined the exact items we needed, from Texas manufactured panels to the battery system which supports our electric needs in the evenings. Communication was excellent as we moved from the design to the sales closure. The honesty and commitment to our project continued during the install, working with our electric provider to help us gain rebates and continues as we learn details from Eastex months after the installation. There is no doubt that we selected the right company, one that continues to help monitor our system for performance, answers questions about the app that reports system details to us, and is glad to see our results of not paying an electric bill since the system went live as we export more power to the grid than we import. Very glad that we found Eastex Solar and a company that we know will support their system - and us!

The team, from Cal, who did the site inspection, to the designers and installers did an excellent job in getting me a well sized system for a better price than I expected. In fact, I got twice the battery capacity of other estimates for a lower bid. It was great. I would highly recommend EasTex Solar.
