Evolution Energy did our solar panels and battery system. One advantage to working with this company is that they offer both Tesla and Enphase systems. We went with Enphase even though it was a bit more expensive. If we had a Cybertruck then Tesla all the way because of the bidirectional charging. The other advantage is that they are also a roofing company so it was all quite seamless. We were able to combine the install with replacement of the dormer vents with flat fire-resistant ones so now we are not as concerned with fire embers. Their work was impeccable throughout and the post install service is exceptional. For instance we initially missed that the water heater was not included in the backup circuits. They sent a small crew back to take care of that at no additional cost. Several months later we realized that the wall oven which we rarely used is no longer powered. They sent someone to take care of that as well. So far the system is functioning well. I was a little surprised I found out that the production calculation (120% of last year’s use) is misleading. On a sunny day, by noon our batteries are full and the power generated for the rest of the day goes to the grid and is essentially wasted here in California. When I am home I can minimize this waste by charging my electric car which covers my day to day driving as it turns out. I manage it by using the Enlighten app’s live status. I suppose I could have bought more batteries but I already own extra batteries. It’s in the car.

5 stars. I had a genuinely great experience with this team from start to finish. Their quote was very competitive, communication was transparent throughout, and the scope/deliverables were always clear. I especially appreciated that they never tried to oversell me or push unnecessary upgrades — they focused on what was agreed on for my project. They also handled the rebate/application process from the initial submission all the way through follow-up communications, which removed a lot of stress on my end. What stood out most, though, was how they handled delays and roadblocks from the utility company. When the process stalled, they stayed on it, found solutions, adjusted approach as needed, and kept things moving instead of letting it sit. That persistence made a huge difference. Special thanks to Alex for leading the project and making it happen, Debbie for coordinating with engineering and keeping communication clear, Angel for leading the installation, and Bruce for helping navigate the rebate process and keeping things moving. Based on my personal experience, this is the kind of team you want in your corner when doing a solar or battery project. Highly recommend.

After shopping around for almost two years (yes, years) and coming dangerously close to signing with another installer, I’m very glad I found Evolution Energy. I discovered them through the EnergySage platform, and they stood out right away with the most competitive pricing and contracts that were refreshingly buyer-friendly — no weird fine print gymnastics. Going solar + battery storage is a big financial decision, especially with the upfront investment, so having someone who could patiently walk me through every step was critical. Enter Alex, the MVP project manager. He was incredibly responsive, answered every “quick question” (and the not-so-quick ones), and never made me feel rushed or silly for asking. He also helped me find a financing option with a very competitive APR, which made the decision feel a lot more manageable. The team delivered exactly as promised and completed the project on time, which mattered a lot so I could secure the federal tax credit before it runs out at the end of the year. If you’re considering solar and want a company that’s transparent, responsive, competitively priced, and actually enjoyable to work with, I can’t recommend Evolution Energy enough.

I recently purchased a complete solar system from Evolution Energy - 25 panels and 2 Tesla batteries - and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience from start to finish. The installation team was exceptional. They worked efficiently and professionally, completing everything on time without cutting any corners. You can tell they know what they're doing, and the quality of their work speaks for itself. Everything has been working flawlessly since installation. I want to give special recognition to Alex Harokhau in Sales. In an industry where you sometimes encounter pushy salespeople, Alex was refreshingly honest and straightforward. He got right to the point, explained everything clearly, and provided excellent customer service throughout the process. It's rare to find a salesman you can truly trust, and Alex is one of them.

Evolution Energy delivered the best fast install I’ve experienced. They were able to complete the solar installation before the rebate deadline, which was a huge plus. From start to finish, the communication was excellent and everything went smoothly. Ask for Alex — he was always available, extremely professional, kept me informed, and answered every question I had. On top of that, they offer the best rates. I would absolutely do business with them again and highly recommend Evolution Energy to anyone looking for a reliable and fast installation.

Very happy with the work from Evolution Energy. Alex has been super helpful and got us the system we needed Panels + Battery Backup for a good price, and because they are part of the California GoGreen financing program, we got financing for so much less than many others offer. Everything is up and running and looks great and we are already generating a lot of power even on these shortest days of the year. The installation is clean and looks nice on our new roof. Evolution Energy also referred us to a roofer who did a great job getting our home ready for solar.
