Simple Solar

We researched a number of Solar providers and selected Simple Solar for our project. They provided a number of different options (system scale, size, panel locations) until we settled on the final design. They use top quality components and I preferred their solution for sealing the roof penetrations compared to the other companies we spoke with. They provided a turnkey solution, handling all of the required paperwork including working with our HOA to get the project approved. Their communications were great throughout the entire project and their post-installation follow-up has been good so far. The performance is guaranteed and the system is producing to expected levels. The APP on my phones gives a good overview of the system health/status. Simple Solar was not the lowest cost solution, but we chose them based on their expertise and expected post installation service and support.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I know that delving into the world of solar energy can be a bit confusing and overwhelming for most of us. Scott, Craig, Joe, and the rest of their installation team were great. They provided us competitive quote(s) with additional options for customization. They answered all of our myriad of questions and educated my wife and I on the options, issues, pitfalls, and potential future opportunities, relating to solar energy. Their crews were professional, prompt, and courteous. Their worksite was left clean and organized. The final electrical and solar panel installation look great and are performing well. Working with Simple Solar was a purely positive experience. They were quick and responsive during the system design stage. Permitting was painless, when we found out our house's previous owners didn't properly permit an addition, Simple Solar handled the issue completely. Installation took a little longer than a day for a 9kwh system (partly due to rain delays). We didn't experience any real friction during the process, I would recommend Simple Solar to friends + family.

I found them on EnergySage as one of a few quotes. Their track record and a few calls with the owner, Scott, convinced me they were the right solar installer for the job. Simple Solar has been an amazing vendor start to finish. The owner, Scott, is very hands-on will all the customers, took all my questions seriously, and was happy to walk me through the engineering, construction, scheduling and permitting process, without overselling anything. Everything from the sales calls to the first site visits through commissioning and inspection with the utility went very smoothly, even though I needed quite a bit of rescheduling on my end. The onsite team was kind, professional, and neat. My system was up and powering my house with the sun within days of our target date. Big shout out to Joe and everyone else on the design and install teams for finishing the project on schedule with everything needed! We are a few months out from install, and I am very happy with my decision.
