Almost complete install

SIgned the contract toward the end of last summer. The prep work including permitting went smoothly. The assigned Project Manager reached out after the contract was signed to say that he was overhwelmed with the number of new installs and so would not be as communicative as outlined during the pitch phase. The install was not smooth, some of which was no fault of All Energy. What should have been a 2 day install turned into about 2 weeks. The first day went fine with prep work, except that the panels that were supposed to be delivered were not in stock. The second day was then rescheduled for the following week. On that day, one of the installers rolled his ankle and so the crew could not perform the install but did some more prep work. I do not fault All Energy for either the panel availablity (since this is a distributor issue) nor the work site injury, with the giant caveat that the lead installer outright said apologetically at the end of the day that he could not reach anybody in the office nor the PM about the situation or when they would be back. The crew left that day with all the panels in the backyard, and rails mounted on the roof but not cut to size (i.e. they were sticking 15 feet off the side of the roof)... After multiple phone calls and emails, I finally heard back from the PM 24 hours later with another install date. That subsequent install date went fine, and I was handed off to the "project management associates." I can honestly say that communication from this team was absent. I only heard from them when I proactively reached out for updates. The only time the PM proactively reached out to me was to call me in December 2025 to recommend that I pay in full even though contractually they weren't due for the final payment. That conversation was interesting... I told him that given the lack of post-install progress on interconnection and complete the lack of communication I was getting worried that they were looking for final payments while not planning on completing the final inspections, interconnection, monitoring set-up, and REC application and I would be stuck with an incomplete install. The PM openly said that the All Energy owners had taken on more new residential installs in 2025 than they should have and that the project management team could not keep up with the volume. His exact words were that it was a "sh*t show" and he was sorry. 4 months after the panels went up, I get a call from All Energy that their "quality audit" noted that they could not associate the panels to the monitoring system (in the Enphase app you can see how each panel is producing) because they lost the piece of paper where the installers noted which panel was installed on which part of my roof, so they would need to send out two installers and take each panel off and re-record the location. I would emphasize that they "realized" this 4 months after the panels were installed, showing how slow their quality audit was. Current situation ~5 months after install, interconnection and monitoring are set-up and I'm generating, but All Energy project management still hasn't confirmed or provided any documentation that an REC application was submitted. I've been waiting to provide a review until the project is complete, but I'm not sure at this point that they will even get back to me. Positives - Quality panels (REC) Negative - Worst in class communication, project management, and follow up.

All Energy Solar - Excellent Experience

We had our system installed last August 2025 and it has been performing as expected. This company has been very responsive, done excellent work (my Brother in realestate said it is one of the best installs he's seen). The price was very competitive and they were very honest about costs and conditions which were explained thoroughly, there were absolutley no surprises. The install went without any problems and was a quality install. I would highly recommend this company.

Great experience

We had an excellent experience with All Energy Solar, and I can’t say enough about the crew that handled our installation. From start to finish, they were not only professional but also genuinely friendly and easy to work with. They always took time to answer questions and made sure we understood each step of the process, which really put us at ease. What impressed us the most was how flexible and adaptable they were with changes in weather. They kept a positive attitude and adjusted their schedule as needed without ever making it feel like an inconvenience. That level of dedication really stood out. The crew was also consistently polite and respectful of our home and property. They worked carefully, cleaned up after themselves, and treated our space as if it were their own. It’s clear they take pride not only in the technical quality of their work but also in the way they interact with homeowners. At the end of the day, the system looks fantastic and we couldn’t be happier with the process. We feel very confident recommending All Energy Solar to anyone considering going solar, not just because of the panels themselves, but because of the outstanding people who make the installation experience so smooth.

home solar installation

We looked at several companies and chose AllEnergy because of its very good customer reviews and the quality of the panels and components they use. We were very satisfied with the project management team's communication and also the efficient panel installation and upgrade of our electrical system. I would recommend AllEnergy to anyone!

Great service - Would absolutely recommend

I'll keep this short. I had solar installed on my duplex by All Energy Solar and the experience from beginning to end was smooth, transparent, and very communicative, and the workmanship of the install was top notch. We went from two 100 AMP services down to a single 200 AMP for the whole building and they managed to clean up a really terrible electrical situation. It's a night and day difference and they managed to do it all with about 7 hours of downtime, which is impressive for the amount of rewiring they had to do. The sales experience was great, the project management was great, the roofers were top notch, and the electricians were great examples of what it means to be a sparky. I'd recommend them to anyone without reservation. I think you pay a bit more than some other offerings, but you absolutely do get what you pay for.

Makes offers for areas they don't even service

Received an offer, not the lowest but at least interesting. I asked them followup questions, like their experience with permitting specifically in my city. No written answer, played phone tag a while. Then spoke on the phone, again questioned them about their ability to get permits quickly and efficiently in my city. Was told yes, and their specialist who covered my area would answer all that when I scheduled the meeting. Scheduled a meeting, near two weeks out was first availability. Night before the meeting specialist cancels the meeting as they do not service Chicago. If you explore All Energy Solar, make sure you are--in parallel--exploring other companies, to not lose a few weeks of your search before learning they make offers for places they don't even serve.
