Over the past 10 years we have had 3 systems installed on our homes. After a bad experience with a national installer we decided to chose PA Solar for our new construction in Pennsylvania back in 2015 with great results. Since then we purchased a vacation property where they have also installed another system with battery storage due to frequent power outages. Communication was great with frequent updates on project status and anticipated timeline. Installation itself was fast and efficient, the installers were very knowledgeable answering our many technical questions being more knowledgeable after our previous installations. PA Solar will be our first call for any additional solar needs, we have even referred many friends their way with existing systems for service as their installer has since went out of business. This is not a concern we have with PA Solar based on their 25+ years in business

After reviewing numerous proposals the one submitted by Pennsylvania Solar was the most competitive offering the highest rated panels and inverter. There were no sales tactics which can not be said about other providers. With a large purchase it was a relief to be allowed the time to make an informed choice. I had several other quotes (5 total), but ultimately chose PA Solar Energy Co. because of the on site evaluation/estimate (not virtual), their decades long track record, competitive pricing and the fact they are a family run business that was within a reasonable distance to my house. Blake is knowledgable ( he gives you the facts) and responded promptly to all my questions. My install of 13 panels was done with efficiency and courtesy. Everything is running smoothly almost a year later. Production meets my needs of running an electric heat pump, charging an electric car and the electric needs of a 3 bedroom home with 13 panels mounted on my house. I had two months in the winter where I didn't have enough electric banked and had to pay for electric, but that is because the panels were only installed mid May and I didn't have a full year of production going into winter. This year, I anticipate they will produce and bank enough so I have zero electric costs beyond the basic charge from the supplier of $12.49/month. I am happy I chose PA Solar Energy Co. and I believe you will be too!

It is a bonus to me that they are local, complete all aspects of the installation in house, and have nearly two decades of experience.
