I was a little hesitant about going with Tri State Solar initially because they didn't have as much feedback as some of the other solar vendors on Energy Sage, but I chose them after a lengthy selection process because they were flexible, competitive on price, and able to accommodate our specific requirements (we also needed a new roof, and wanted a new roof skylight installed in addition to the solar system). The work was done in two phases: First, the roof replacement and skylight installation, and second, the solar system installation -- and both phases were completed quickly and professionally. Tri-City also handled all the permit applications required, and guided me through the Atmos loan application process. Ben, Moses and the rest of the Tri-City Solar team were always very responsive. I can wholeheartedly recommend Tri City Solar Services, especially if you have unique requirements beyond a standard solar system installation and appreciate personal service.

Ben and his team were fantastic to work with. Our house has a very complicated roof but they were able to work around it and find the best possible layout for the solar panels. Some other companies didn't even bother trying to do the analysis. The whole crew was extremely knowledgeable, professional and polite. They were even very careful about the looks of the installation ensuring that wires were not visible and that everything was set up as tidy as possible. Great experience and great value.

Having just completed a project with Tri-State Solar, I can happily say that they're an outstanding partner to work with. Ben and the entire team are happy to answer questions, present options without pressure and work through any grit to get to the right outcome for the project. They're detail oriented and interested in doing the job in a way that makes everyone happy. Some specific examples on why I'm so pleased I worked with Tri-State: • Of the 4 quotes that came in via Energy-Sage, theirs was the only one that took aesthetics and panel density into account for the plan. Other layouts had random panels in bizarre places, while Tri-State had three dense arrays that produce just as much as other quotes. • I asked about upgrading inverters and rather than just saying yes at the higher cost, the team worked through what I was trying to accomplish before we decided on what was best for the situation rather than what had the best profit margin for them. • Communication has been outstanding through the whole process. Email responsiveness is usually within hours, not days and any on site work was scheduled accurately without any "between 8am - 2pm" windows. They're there when they say they will be. We've been operating for two months now and I have nothing to complain about. I'm glad we lucked out with a great installer / maintainer.
