They went Bankrupt....don't do service with Saveco Solar!

As stated above, Saveco Solar went bankrupt. They are still trying to sell systems to unsuspecting buyers. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

Won't pay Sales people who represent them

Clearly this is a company lacking in integrity. Until they work ethically, I am leaving a "leas than" one-star review for the service they provided.

Worst company I have ever done business with

I contracted with SaveCo April 18, 2022 and my plans were ready 5/23/22. They began the install July 1, 2022 and only made it half way. After consulting with my electrician, they had completely mis-designed the system. I had pipes, batteries, panels and all kids of crap in my yard until mid September when they finally contacted me after multiple repeated attempts on my part. They told me that the power company was the hold up. I contacted our local liaison with the power company and he told me that this was not the case. In the meantime, they added another $8,500 to my balance for system changes. Not only were these system changes not done, they were not even possible. My electrician had to give them a schematic of how the power would flow to make sure I had enough to service my needs. They hired an outside contractor to finish the job of putting everything on the house and getting it out of my yard. He essentially had to re-do everything the installers had done initially as it was done wrong. After calling them almost every week trying to get information with no response, they finally sent the contractor out to finish. He was able to do everything but install the throw switch on the panel as the one they ordered would not fit. I received an email in late December 2022 that my project was finished and ready for final inspection. This could not be done without the switch. Another 6 weeks went by of me trying to contact them and finally someone called me back to let me know their warehouse person had quit suddenly before Christmas and never ordered my switch. I was assured they would get right on this. Another month went by with no word and no answer. I made calls to their corporate headquarters 5 days in a row asking to speak with anyone in upper management to help me. I was assured that my call would be a priority and after 5 days, no one called me back. Then my contractor called me and said he had not been paid for his work some months before. At this point we are almost a year later and not only do I not have an operational system, I have been paying my solar loan since last August and my full energy bill each month and the solar loan still has not been corrected to take off the $8,500 up charge. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF THEY ARE EVEN STILL IN BUSINESS!!!

Solar journey

The materials were not delivered on my scheduled installation date, so the crew sat around making phone calls until they determined no delivery was coming. Then they left to get some of the materials themselves. Once they had everything available they showed up again and installed the panels. Now the panels are on the roof but I haven't been able to get them turned on until the local electric company approves everything. The city building department has already approved the installation. Today I received a legal notice of intent to claim lien on the panels from a subcontractor that has not been paid by SafeCo Solar.

Communication was Amazing!

We received a couple quotes and Saveco was the best value for the quality of equipment, and also were able to answer all of our questions right from the start. Saveco had amazing communication throughout the whole process, including just checking in while waiting for permits and approvals to ensure us that they were still there for questions and monitoring the process.

Talented and Trustworthy

Saveco Solar completed 2 projects for me this year, a 13KW roof top and a 30 KW ground mount . Saveco took care of all the paper work, permits, inspections and the field crews were talented and very diligent . I would recommend Saveco to anyone considering a solar system at their home . Top notch company.
