Cali Energy made the experience of installing solar panels pleasant. They provided a competitive bid and they finished the installation quickly. Special praise for Alex, the project manager. He patiently answered all my questions, always returned my calls, and kept me updated with the status of the project. One of the things that impressed me the most was: every person I interacted with was professional and polite; from the people who replied to my emails, talked to me on the phone, to the installers that I met in person. Highly recommended company!

This company provided an absolutely outstanding service. I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards each and every one who handled my installation. Truly grateful to everyone at the office who pushed city’s buttons to expedite my paperwork. The installers are also true masters of their craft. The installation took only 1 day which is a mind blowing experience as I dealt with contractors in the past and my experience with them was nothing like this one with Cali Energy. Cali Energy provided excellent communication, design, installation, and final turn-on. From our updated quote to turn-on it took about five weeks. We initially went with another installer in March of 2022. The installer we picked dragged their feet on detailed design and finally told us that they couldn't do it in August of 2022. I contacted Diana at Cali Energy, who had submitted a quote earlier in March. We also had a specific request to site the combiner box on the north side of our house for cosmetic reasons. We also asked that the AC line from the combiner be routed underneath our house to the main electrical panel. She was able to accommodate that request in the system design and provided an updated quote with a parts list. Within a week, we saw that LADBS permits had been pulled and she provided us with an install date. At this point, I asked for alot of the detailed design information, and they were happy to provide it. The install crew ran into a small problem with the mounting clamps, but solved it quickly. A week after the install, we had an LADBS inspection, and received a new electrical meter a couple days after that, with permission to turn on. We're very happy with Cali Energy. I only wish we had picked them first.

My wife and I had a large, new 23 kW solar system installed by Cali Energy as well as a new electrical panel upgrade. Cali Energy gave guided us to use the best, highest efficiency panels with the best performance guarantee in the industry. They did this at a very competitive price. We found the communication with Cali to be excellent, all their workers were professional and competent and they went out of their way to make sure the job was completed to our satisfaction. If you are considering solar, I suggest you get a proposal from Cali Energy before making your final choice.

Very fast, very efficient. I had to get HOA approval, so got the requisite neighbors' approvals--and that was the last thing I had to do other than send checks. I emailed the doc to Cali Energy who then submitted it and all other necessary docs to the HOA--quick approval. I did not want the ceramic roof tiles removed, so Cali Energy used Ironridge All Tile Hook & Flashings. The crew came out about 8:00 a.m. and completed the installation of 19 solar panels before they left that evening. Cali Energy arranged for the city to inspect the electrical work the next morning. Cali Energy was there for the inspection. The physical part of the construction job was then complete. Then, Cali Energy submitted all necessary documents to SCE, got their approval very quickly as well. Cali Energy also coordinated with Enphase so that we can monitor our solar equipment, sent me the extended warranty for the solar panels, and provided information necessary to take advantage of the federal solar tax credit on our future tax return. In other words, they handled just about everything, very quickly and very efficiently. Special thanks to Maria who coordinated everything --for this "Nervous Nelly" -- with patience and consideration.

It took me about a month to finish the project. I installed REC 360 and Enphase micro-inverters. I am completely satisfied with my system. Everything works perfectly. I am very grateful to the whole team who worked on my project for making my experience so headache free. They also provide a free monitoring app, which allows you to monitor your system production.
