Overpromised and significantly underdelivered. We invested over $80,000 in this solar project and expected a professional experience and reliable results. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The project took far longer than expected to complete, with frequent delays and poor communication throughout. Once final payment was received, responsiveness dropped off even further — calls, emails, and texts often went unanswered for long periods of time. There were also serious issues with the planning and honesty of the proposal. The original design included panels on our balcony, which was clearly not a viable option. After that was revised, we were assured that the updated plan — with panels placed on our shop — would still zero out (or nearly zero out) our electric bill. That did not happen. Instead, we began receiving very large electric bills. When we raised concerns, we were told that the system we “approved” was not designed to fully offset our usage — despite having emails clearly stating that it would. In addition, the monitoring equipment was installed in a location exposed to direct sunlight and excessive heat, which led to a component failure and required replacement. We ultimately had to install an awning at our own expense to protect the equipment — something that should have been considered during installation. Additionally, not everything that was promised was completed as agreed. Israel had indicated he would go over key items such as who to contact for issues, system upkeep, and ongoing support — but that follow-through never happened. Throughout this process, I made multiple attempts to resolve these issues directly, but responses were slow or nonexistent. I am still open to having the company come back and correct the problems. At this point, however, the lack of follow-through has left these issues unresolved. Overall, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing, verifying production estimates independently, and proceeding with caution.

It's unfortunate to have to take the time to write a bad review but Israel is a terrible business operator. Our entire install was horrific, nothing was ever on time, communication was completely non existent, he requested payment in full stating it was complete, and it took another year to get the entire system up and running....my mistake I guess for trusting him and paying in full. Now after a few years I need warranty work for a bad inverter and Israel flat out said he won't do it, and solar edge will only work with the installer to warranty work, so I'm stuck. Buyer beware, Israel is prideful, arrogant, and any challenge to his terrible communication will set him off. Fell free to call me if you have questions I would hate for someone else to have to deal with this kid.

Israel and Marco at JIT Solar are phenomenal! Isreal originally installed my solar system five years ago. Recently I had an issue with the hardware due to normal wear and I didn’t know the initial installer was. I used another company who diagnosed an issue with my inverter and charged extraordinary fees. Once I found JIT and israel they took exceptional care of me at no cost! Highly recommend JIT Solar and Isreal for any solar needs.

TLDR: Affordable Professional Customer Service Pro JIT was recommended to me by my in-laws and my brother, and my experience with them was (and still is) excellent. Israel and his team worked hard to ensure quick installation and activation in 2020 despite covid. Then when I had issues with some panels not working (manufacturer issue not JIT), he never dropped the ball on me. Again months later I had an issue with the distribution manager and he came out to fix it with no questions asked. Plus he replaced some roof tiles that blew away in the storm just because they happened to be next to where the power-line was installed. Great experience working with him and his team! My neighbor went with someone else and is regretting it!

The install of our solar system turned out great! The installation went so smoothly and we really appreciate all that they did! It was done so quickly and neatly and we haven’t had any problems. We have saved so much money after getting this done and are So grateful for this company! Thank you for helping us go green!

When my husband and I started looking around for solar I reached out to my Brother-in-law who had gotten solar earlier in the year. I know he is the type of guy to do copious amounts of research so I trusted him when he quickly and without reservation recommended JIT Solar. I had already gotten quotes from other companies when Israel from JIT Solar came in and spent a lot of time drilling down into my APS bill and asking a lot of questions about my usage and any future usage expectations. He then gave me a quote that was for a bigger system than I had been offered by the other quotes I had gotten, with better equipment with better warranties and for significantly less money. We were sold at that point. We asked a lot of questions and Israel was always happy to spend time answering them. With Covid, things took a lot longer than usual, but I don't blame JIT Solar for that. It was near the end of the year and we were concerned about getting the panels on in 2020 so we could claim the tax credit before it decreased. Things got pushed to the last minute because of waiting on permits due to Covid but they came out right before the holiday and got the panels put up on 12/31. They worked the entire day on New Year's Eve, which I appreciated so much. The install went without a hitch and the workers were very polite and we had no issues whatsoever. We have just gone live and so far the process has been lengthy but with Covid, that's to be expected. We are happy with our panels that look so nice on the house and are excited to start seeing our savings.
