I cannot recommend Sunspear enough! After researching several companies, I chose them for my home solar project, and the experience was seamless from start to finish. The sales team was professional and transparent, taking the time to explain system sizing and financing without any high-pressure tactics. The installation crew was equally impressive. They arrived on time, respected my property, and completed the job ahead of schedule. Communication throughout the permitting and utility interconnection phase was proactive; I never had to chase them for an update. Great team to work with!

Sunspear helped me navigate an upgrade to my NEM system by adding batteries plus more solar panels, and the installation went great. It included a challenging service upgrade 200A, and they handled the coordination with HECO very professionally. They were able to get me locked into the Battery Bonus program too, so I got a nice incentive from HECO. Their commissioning team and Toy helped process everything very efficiently. Would highly recommend them.

I first heard of Sunspear through my sister who hired them to install solar on her home. After hearing about her awesome experience, I called them to inquire about adding solar to my new house. I was hoping to receive the same great experience and they did not disappoint! The consultation was very personalized, they asked me what was important to me about getting solar and I told them that I want to charge my EV and run my AC whenever I want, but to also have the same (or less) monthly payment than my current energy bill. They factored in my family size, location, and projected usage to figure out the right amount of panels and batteries I needed to get without shorting myself or overspending. They also placed me in their Tesla Powerwall 3 Pilot, so I'd be the first to receive the new batteries, perfect timing! The communication was great as we waited for HECO and permitting approvals. I always knew what to look out for in every stage of the process and when it came time to install, the workers were very friendly and professional. They were also very quick and made sure to clean up after themselves. Once they completed the installation and my system was up and running, they helped me register my Powerwall in the Tesla app so that I can easily monitor my daily production and usage. Overall, I had an exceptional experience and I recommend Sunspear to everyone I know interested in getting solar! When we bought our house, we always knew we wanted to get solar but weren’t ready yet. Then when we got our HECO bill…wow, it was high!! So we started to look into getting solar sooner and glad that we got connected with Sunspear Energy! The communication throughout the entire process was amazing. When it was time for the installation, everything went smoothly and our system has been working great since then and best part is our HECO bill is zeroed out! There has always been frequent power outages and blackouts in Maunawili. We added solar and a Tesla Powerwall to our system and haven’t lost power since. Sunspear made sure our whole home was backed up making sure even our outside freezer food doesn’t go bad! The team was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. My wife and I started our solar journey in 2019. We met with many companies but the Sunspear rep was by far the most helpful and knowledgeable about batteries and inverters and panels. The rep made it clear that the way they design systems places a focus on what's best for us, and not just what they sell. We started with 7 kilowatts and 1 Tesla battery and over the years we have increased our system up to 25 kilowatts and 6 batteries. We are saving $1600 a month in our previous electric bill and couldn't be happier. We've referred Sunspear numerous times to friends and family and all have had the same experience.
