SOLAR TOPPS

Team did a great job installing my 19.5KW system. Communication was great throughout with the exception of around the county inspection with the SolarTopps team needing to come out but I wasn’t notified beforehand. Other than that everything was done really well. I would highly recommend the SolarTopps team.

Sean was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I asked for a system that would cover my electric consumption with a little wiggle room without over doing it, and with quality products. When I finally made a decision the process was laid out and timelines given and everything went smoothly to the finish line. My system is complete and functioning as I expected and the app for monitoring lets me know how much energy is produced each day. I can honestly say, every single thing went according to plan, no hiccups and everyone I encountered was helpful and got right back to me when I had questions or needed some support. We had several companies come out and give us solar proposals, but Sean O'Brien from Solar Topps was the most knowledgeable and gave us the best value for our money. Sean was referred to me by someone that bought Solar from him around 10 years ago and the fact he was still doing it made me feel very comfortable buying from him. My neighbors also ended up buying from Solar Topps and Sean because they found the same thing I did which was that the price was the best and Sean understood what they wanted/needed.

I reviewed about 5 Solar Power Companies. Went with Solar Topps I talked with Tony Porter. Tony was very helpful about answering my questions at home or called back very quickly with the answers to the questions. We reviewed my electrical power requirements. Tony described the different phases of the installation of the solar power system. Solar Topps installation and power connections went well and quickly. The solar power system was finished in a few days. Had to wait for the city, APS and Fire Department to inspect the system. APS turned on the solar power system on 1 November 2022. First, Solar Topps did an excellent job throughout the long permitting and installation process. Our system began producing over our expectations…until a sudden whole-system failure of our two month old system! When 28 micro-inverters inexplicably failed and our system came to a full stop, we began immediately consulting with both Enphase (the micro inverter manufacturer) and Solar Topps about the problem. After two weeks, Enphase resolved that the unexplained failure was not their responsibility and suggested that we contact our homeowners insurance. Solar Topps continued to investigate, and continued to push, until finally they were able to get Enphase to honor their warranty. Solar Topps came the very next day, installed all new micro inverters and got our system back up and running…and then Solar Topps representative Kaveri kept watch over the next few days and again worked with Enphase to insure that our system-monitoring was functioning perfectly again, as well. Many people at Solar Topps got involved in the investigation and final resolution of this issue and we are grateful to them all for their hard work and dedication. Solar Topps, you’re the best!
