The entire process went very smooth. I had already did a lot of research on Solar and what I wanted but Gus filled in all the extra details that I needed. I had a few requirements that they met as an installer, which was being local and the price was right. In addition the scheduling was great, installation was great, getting the system turned on and communication with AEP was great, loan was a great, and getting everything setup with SREC's was great. My loan bill is now cheaper than my AEP bill, and I'm getting money each month with the SREC's. Since I have an EV now my fuel cost is $0

SolShine Energy Alternatives made the process of going solar easy and stress-free. From their first consulting meeting through installation and commissioning of our solar system, SolShine demonstrated high expertise and professionalism. Everyone on the team was easy to work with. The primary installation was completed in two days with only additional time required for inspections and utility company sign-off. We are extremely pleased with the completed work and are looking forward to the savings our solar will provide.

We considered 3 companies to do our solar panels. This one worked out as the best value. We made some adjustments to the plan in terms of equipment choice and they were cooperative. Everything was done in a reasonable time frame and they answered communications quickly.

We recently had a whole-home PV system installed. Beginning with the EnergySage profile and continuing through the final installation and energization of the system, I was completely satisfied with my experience. The SolShine team was very responsive and knowledgeable, and left me with no questions unanswered at the end of the process. I highly recommend them if you are in the market for a PV system. We got the system installed late in the year, meaning production was not ideal, however, I am optimistic that once spring and summer rolls around, the system will exceed our expectations.

All the installers on Energysage were responsive, but Solshine was a great partner for my needs. They operate out of Roanoke, VA not far from my home, and run a lean, mean operation. Their design team came out for the first visit, setting realistic expectations and no-nonsense estimates. Instead of offering me free attic insulation and months of deferred loan payments, they just gave me a quote no one else could touch. They communicated well throughout the process and answered all my questions, even after go-live. I can definitely and heartily recommend these guys.
