RC Construction Solar

I have 2 systems installed by the now bankrupt Pink Energy when they were known as Power Home Solar. Neither system worked properly. Roberto was very honest, professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Now both systems are working properly.

I highly recommend Roberto’s company to anyone interested in solar. He is quick to respond to your texts/calls and takes care of any problems you are having in a very timely manner. He is AMAZING. I cannot say enough positive things about this company. I have never dealt with anyone who was so quick to respond to requests for service!!!

I contacted RCC Solar not for an install, but for maintenance on an existing 5 year old installation. Roberto was communicative, letting me know when he arrive and the crew were pleasant, informative, explained to me , even showed me the problems, and were diligent, fixing my issues in a timely manner. Given the difficulty in getting an existing install worked on, what with Solar companie from 5 years ago being out of business now, I'd recommend RCC Solar for work and/or new installs, I learned only use local company and have at least 5 by BBB

Professional. Honest. Accurate quote and pricing with no surprises. Workmanship and components are top notch. Work and clean up were completed as promised. Roberto showed up when he said he would. Promptly returned phone calls. Did not try to sell me “extra stuff or bells and whistles”. Upfront about the benefits and limitations of this system. System is producing as promised. I would highly recommend Roberto and RCC Solar.

Upfront I'll say that I'm the type to consider doing solar DIY and will analyze a decision of this magnitude to the extreme. I did my research long before seeking quotes so I was well prepared to evaluate the quotes I received. When I raised questions about the system and components they quoted, whoever responded was quick to "teach me a lesson" about solar panels. In his view, there's no difference in the quality of the panels despite warranties that are different. Sure, he's the installer and entitled to a professional opinion. The way he responded to legitimate questions was anything but professional. I thought that would be the only interaction as I quickly eliminated RC Construction Solar as an option. I ended up opting to install the system myself. During the process I came up short on splice pieces I needed for my rails. This is basically a $5 part and I needed 4 of them to finish up. I called around trying to find some and was certainly willing to pay to get them and meet whoever had them wherever they were around town. I reached the owner and the same unprofessional communication was quickly apparent. He had extra splices and was willing to sell them to me at the bargain price of $25...EACH! I call that price gouging, but you be the judge. I found them elsewhere with another installer that was actually helpful for a little over $7/each. I hope RC Construction Solar does good work because they're certainly not great to work with in my experience.

Roberto and his team have installed a total of five systems for me and family members. He has proven himself reliable in each instance. As to quality of panels, inverters, and workmanship, he chooses the top quality items, which carry long-term warranties and installs them expertly. His limited command of the English language can sometimes make communication interesting, but we've never had a problem.
