This company went above and beyond. I am so impressed with their integrity. There was a problem with my metering. When I heard there was a problem, I imagined I would have to fight to get things made whole. On the contrary, they called me, explained the situation and before I could say a thing, they said, "It's our fault, so we will reimburse you for the mistake!" Wow. I recently completed a complex solar and battery installation with Great Sky Solar and received PTO about 20 days ago. From start to finish, they demonstrated integrity, competence, and professionalism. They upgraded my panels at no extra cost, designed a custom layout that maximized production on my irregular, partially shaded roof, and accepted the challenge of installing batteries in my basement—all without hidden fees. Their pricing was competitive, and the work was done by full-time in-house installers, not subcontractors. While there were some hiccups—like a delay due to an unexpected fire-rated room requirement and a missed transformer export limit that now caps my AC export at 11.1 kW—they were generally responsive and helpful. In an industry where transparency is rare and corner-cutting is common, Great Sky Solar stood out as a trustworthy, capable, and fair-priced installer. If your project is more complex or you simply want peace of mind, I highly recommend them.

Great Sky was just a great company to work with from start to finish. The front end rep was knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. The team that did the install was professional and efficient. The quality of the install was excellent. I see so many installs where the conduit is poorly done and is an eyesore on the house -- the great sky team's install looks beautiful! The bottom line price was not the the absolute cheapest, but I loved being able to compare apples to apples through the Energy Sage platform and select the system that was best for me. Great Sky made the process of installing solar panels quite manageable for us. The project from start to finish went seamlessly with all of their help. Their team worked closely with us on the design details, and then handled all of the paperwork with regulators and the electric company. Most months we have been generating more power than we are using! This was exactly our design, to allow for future expansion of our electrical needs.
