Northwest Renewables installed a solar system with a generator back up on my house. It was a large project and NWR did a great job. From design to permitting and execution, NWR did well in all phases. The system runs well and while I’m connected to the grid, I pay very little each month as the solar system covers my needs. I would recommend NWR highly.

NW Renewables installed a 7.6kW solar PV system (19 panels) and a Mitsubishi 5-zone ductless system in our home. We've done a lot of home improvements over the years, and NW Renewables is hands down one of the best contractors we have ever worked with anywhere. Extremely knowledgeable and professional in planning out the project and determining the best options for our home. They took the time to design and size the systems right, for a smooth installation and a successful project at the right cost. Construction crews were an absolute pleasure to work with and have in our home, and their meticulous attention to detail and quality workmanship were top notch. This was a complex project with wall units mounted on interior walls which required unique solutions and tricky installations of line sets, but NW Renewables pulled it off beyond what we ever thought was possible. The installations of both the PV and Ductless are beautiful, the system performance has been outstanding, and we are so happy. Cannot recommend them enough!

Northwest Renewables was super responsive and friendly, reasonably priced, and all around professional. I had a lot of questions that they answered and they provided great detail and thoughtfulness every step of the way. A year later we're thrilled with how well the solar panels have worked. They look great and we receive great savings on our utility bills.

We had 24 panel solar array installed by NW Renewables for home heating and electricity needs spring 2021. An excellent company to deal with, very professional, easy to schedule, installation attractive and wow the solar production met their estimates. The process started with a site visit to see if our home roofs had enough exposure for solar. Their engineer worked with us and prepared an understandable (for a non-technical person) solar installation package tailored for our home and garage based on our historic electricity usage and then an expanded plan as we explained future need with electric heat pump and electric vehicle. With WA net metering, a good investment for us for our home and a nice contribution to a greener future. The system is hooked up to wifi so you can monitor your system and its fun to watch to the kWh being generated. WA net metering for our utility company zeros out March 31 so our maximum solar production months has carried us through January thus far. Lots of dog walkers stop by and am proud to show off our system.

Great company to work with, excellent communications, super competent crew, nice looking finished product including the electrical panel interface. I can't rate the relative value accurately since I didn't shop around much (and in fact there is not much competition in our area), but we certainly feel we got our money's worth and we're really happy to be "doing the right thing" with our solar array!

My enthusiasm for putting a solar array on the roof of my new house as it was being constructed was much greater than my knowledge about the process. So I feel fortunate that Northwest Renewables in Spokane was available to handle my site in Sandpoint, Idaho, from beginning to end, from designing the system for my needs to completion with certification. The system has been online since August 2019. After one full fiscal year of net metering, it has provided all my electricity needs and then some, which makes a strong case for replacing my gas-driven car with an e-vehicle.
