Like others, I signed with TSP in July and I was told it would be about 10 weeks for installation in October. Out of good faith, I released almost $25k to start phase 1 (permits) only to find out they went under in September without any notification! The township said they never paid for the permit and it was canceled. TSP has not responded to any calls or emails or provided any communication. Now I'm out $25k when zero work and zero equipment and zero services were delivered because the CFB lender does not recognize the federal FTC Holder Rule! I want my money back!

Like the last person who posted a review, I experienced the same thing. Lots of communication upfront. Signed the contract, released 50% funds, and got the permitting done. Then silence. Multiple attempts to contact with no responses and today 09/09/26 I found out the company closed.

Well you might want to vet these companies better, they stole our deposit and closed their doors.

I was excited to get solar and Texas Solar Professionals had the best price and the best reviews. Ryan was personable, the site survey went well, so I paid upfront in April. July installation date came--I arranged my work travel, wrangled my livestock--but nothing. No communication at all. I reached out, they apologized and said it had to be rescheduled (#1). Two weeks pass, no communication. I reach out again and they give an August install date. August install date: no call, no show. Ryan says he will make it right. Rescheduled (#2). Third install date: the crew shows up! But then they discover they had not done a proper site survey to figure out where the underground power line is. Shouldn't that be part of the site survey? They reschedule for after the utility company comes Monday morning (#3). Monday morning: no crew and utility company comes after hours. Rescheduled for Tuesday morning (#4). Hours later, it gets changed to Wednesday (#5). A few hours later, they cancel and want to reschedule a sixth time. Nope. I asked for a refund. This company is understaffed, on its last legs. I've never had such poor communication from any service experience, ever.

I paid a several-thousand dollar deposit in late February for a solar project. I was thrilled about the project value and got along well with Ryan. Although I told the lead time was 6-8 weeks, I kept having to check in with the team about when the project would happen, instead of them reaching out and letting me know the timeline. The project was not scheduled until late June, at which point I needed to reschedule due to a planned vacation. Then, the project was further delayed to late July. They seem like they have overbooked projects. Maybe because I am in Austin, it was hard to schedule since their base is in DFW. I decided to cancel rather than to continue to deal with this project. I did receive my refund and some lost interest.
