Solar Wave

We originally found Solar Wave through EnergySage and compared several companies and proposals. They weren’t the cheapest or the most expensive, but Steve and his team stood out because of how thoroughly they explained the system, compared equipment options, answered our questions, and helped us understand exactly what we were purchasing. What impressed us even more was the service after the installation. Solar Wave continued monitoring our system and actually contacted us when they detected an issue we didn’t even know existed. They came out and took care of it proactively. When we moved to a new home in 2026, Solar Wave was the first company we called. We still compared other quotes, but once again their pricing, transparency, equipment recommendations, and service made the decision easy. The larger system was installed in a day, communication has remained excellent, and they continue to monitor it and stay in touch. After two installations, Solar Wave has earned our trust. Five stars without hesitation.

We completed the install of full Enphase system with battery back up. The Solar Wave team was very knowledgeable about our options and helped us design the right system for us. Install went smoothly and the system is producing as advertised.

Steven and team did an awesome job getting our solar system online as fast as possible. Xcel dragged their feet when it came to getting their meter installed (which isn’t used for anything besides telling Xcel how much money they are losing to solar I think?) but overall the install was quick and everything has been running smooth through multiple outages in our area already.

The entire team was professional and responsive. Steven was great at educating me on the pros and cons of micro-inverters. Kris was great communicating over email throughout the process and the installation team were great to work with too.

We had a great experience with Solar Wave. Steven and the team installed a PV and battery backup system on our home. They were communicative, on time, within the budget we agreed to, handled the rebate applications with Xcel and the city, and they were proactive and supportive in troubleshooting some small issues along the way (with our city inspection office and the Powerwall app). Highly recommend the Solar Wave team!

I started on EnergySage and was quoted Solar Wave as one of the bids. They had the best equipment and competitive price. They're local in Denver (where I live) and the owner Steven was with us every step of the way. He is clear and fast in his communication. He worked with me on what my family needed and didn't try to upsell. He doesn't utilize a sales team so I felt inclined to write this review. How he runs his operation should be a model for the industry. We're beyond happy with the bid, communication, install, and finished product. 5 Stars!
