I would highly recommend choosing SunBlue Energy as your solar installer if you live in or around Westchester County. We spoke with Chris, the president of the company, during our initial meeting where he explained everything we needed to know and what to expect from the proposed system. I had met with a couple other installers as well, and the specs of the pitch are basically the same with the regard the benefits of having solar power. What I appreciated about Chris and SunBlue was that he never was overly pushy, nor using "salesman" type tactics, and truly felt like he just wanted to make sure we had all the information we needed for the decision. They were also willing to work with us on the price and configuration as well. Also, all installers present a similar cost-saving estimate, but there's sometimes sleight-of-hand with the values they populate for ConEd energy rates and expected increases. SunBlue's estimates for these numbers seems like the most reasonable and comparable to our actual bills. After we signed the agreement with them, the process could not have been more seamless. SunBlue took care of everything you'd expect: designing, permits, inspections, etc, without us ever having to think about anything. The office was always very communicative during the process, and we were always well-informed about the progress. The install itself took place in less than a day and the city inspection was complete and all permits closed out the next day. The whole process was complete about 8 weeks after we signed the agreement. This efficiency was definitely appreciated with how quickly the clean energy incentives are being removed these days. After our system was fully connected with ConEd, Chris came back again to see how everything went and to go over again all of the details of the system. It's been about a month since we started generating energy, and while it was a very hot and sunny August, it was still nice to see that the system generated 30% more than what was projected. All in all, again would highly recommend choosing SunBlue.

I first got estimates from SunBlue a few years ago and wasn't ready to move forward yet, but I came back earlier this year and they seamlessly picked up right where we had left off. Working with them was incredibly easy. They communicated clearly about the steps I needed to take and the permitting/installation timeline. The panels look great on the house and have been working perfectly. It was really a relief working with them after talking to other solar providers who were much pushier.

We shopped around and met with several solar installers before choosing SunBlue. Our system has been exceeding our expectations since it was installed in the summer of 2016. SunBlue even assisted us in maximizing our tax credit benefits for the project. We continue to exceed our usage, which means no local electric bills.

I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this amazing family owned company. Chris and the rest of the staff were so professional, knowledgeable, and walked us through the entire process of getting solar for our home. We started in May 2020 with Chris, the owner, doing a full presentation of different options based on our roof and solar potential. Many times you get a quote from a solar company, it's usually a sales rep who is just simply trying to sell you something and then bother you every day with incessant calls. Chris was clear in their approach and laid out concrete proposals and left it up for us to decide. The installation process was smooth and done over two days in August 2020 and we were cleared by Orange and Rockland Utilities the same month. All the paperwork, permitting, and proposal submission was done by SubBlue leaving the only part to us was financing, getting 0% financing through NYSERDA before it ended in June 2020. The team at SunBlue do an excellent job, clean installation, and are truly dedicated to making it work with the customer. My advice to anyone going solar is to do your research and don't settle with someone just based on price. Ask yourself, will that company stand behind it's warranty? Will they address issues promptly? Will they have parts available in case something needs to be replaced? (**cough Tesla **cough**) SunBlue does, and goes even further beyond. They are the real deal and you won't be disappointed.

Johnathan was great to work with,took care off everything from permits to final walk through when system was ready to be powered on. An all around great local company to work with.
