zero follow up from AP systems

Subject: Urgent: Unresolved Support Issue for APsystems I am reaching out here because I have been unable to get a resolution through standard support channels (Case #[00471569]). My system was tampered with by an unauthorized person causing an outage and rendering the system unuseable. The case was opened more than two weeks ago. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have not received any follow up on my case.  As a customer, I expected more reliable support for such critical energy infrastructure. Can someone from the @APsystems North America team please provide a status update or escalate this to a supervisor?  #APsystems #SolarSupport #CustomerService

Very Bad Support

They have shown TERRIBLE support for installed systems. Getting responses from support regarding failed microinverters or ECUs that don't work takes months of active follow up. I almost never get a call back or email response. I run an install company in GA and we will not be using them any more.

Dismal service

System fails regularly, installer has been helpful but their hands are tied. There is no way to contact support at the company, and I can’t see how the 25 years warranty has any value if they are not responsive at all.

the worst aftersales service

AP System tried to escape from batch failure responsibility after the occurance of batch quality accident (720 units) since July 2024. It did not assume after-sales responsibility and no replacement nor response for more than half a year . They ignore the urge of aftersales service from the clients and adopts an evasive and unresolved approach to deal with our after-sales problems. It has been one year since the batch failure happened and still trying to escape from the responsibility.

Excellent product and support

We installed rooftop solar in northern Michigan with CBS Solar, a locally owned and operated solar installer. They utilize APsystems 768W dual module microinverters (384W per panel). These microinverters provide excellent performance under all shading conditions up to full sun. Individual panels are able to operate at their sunlight exposure without affecting other panels output. I routinely realize 384W per panel under full sun with 2 year old 395W monocrystalline panels. The software includes apps for iOS or Android as well as a computer browser based interface and reporting system. There are no subscription fees. We have had no module failures although we had 1-2 that were not installed due to failure on initial deployment. Finally, the software is highly customizable, generating a panel level map of the solar array including panel level performance over various time periods.
