Workmanship Warranty

Sunshine State Solar Services (“Contractor”) warrants to Customer (“Owner”) that at the time of installation Contractor’s work will be free from defects and will conform with the requirements of the contract and will not cause any water intrusion. This warranty shall extend for a period of ten (10) years from the date that Contractor’s installation passes final inspection. Contractor shall be responsible for repairing or replacing any parts that fail and repairing any areas impacted by water intrusion that is caused by defective workmanship. The method of repair or replacement shall be in Contractor’s sole discretion and at no charge to Owner during the warranty period. Under no circumstances, however, shall Owner have any claim against Contractor for money damages resulting from breach of this warranty. Contractor’s warranty excludes remedy for damage or defect caused by: (i) abuse (except abuse caused by Contractor or any subcontractor during the course of the work); (ii) modifications affecting the warranted condition or performance that are not made or authorized by Contractor or its agents, employees, or contractors; or (iii) normal wear and tear under normal usage.
