Good experience. It is nice to have the owner/operator doing the majority of work instead of having random folks that don’t take pride or have no experience.

I’ve had 12 panel system installed. It took less than 1 month to complete the project and Stefan was great from the start to the finish. Everything went smoothly and the system works pretty well. Highly recommended.

It's always nice when you get to work directly with the president of the company and Stefan was a pleasure to do business with. The quote from Solar Renewable Energy was competitive, but the recommendations from friends and family who recently installed with them helped me decide on SRE. Stefan was personally involved in the entire process and kept me informed along the way. The actual installation took 2 days, plus 1 for county inspector which Stefan was also present for. During the install, steps were taken to protect my gutters, neatly stack excess roof tiles, and the equipment in the garage looks so neat and tidy--like it was always part of the house! Stefan took care of filing permits and connection with SDGE and netmetering application. He made sure I had proper connectivity to the gateway and app was reporting all panels on my cell (so much fun to watch the electricity production in action). Great experience from start to finish.

I'm a first-time home buyer and was excited that I bought a home that came with solar. However, after a month, I discovered the solar system that came with the house was too small for my energy needs. With SDGE excessive rates, I would be paying more than $200 each month and there is no way I wanted to pay SDGE anymore money. I needed a 2nd solar system. I did a ton of research on solar and felt I was well informed on the type of panels and inverters I wanted, the average cost of solar in the San Diego area, what to look for in an installer, etc. The most important thing when getting solar is to find a reputable installer who is knowledgeable and someone you can trust. Stefan at Solar Renewable Energy is that person. From start to finish, he has been great. He was able to install my 2nd solar system within 2 weeks of my roof being replaced, had the county inspection completed within a week after installation, and I received permission to operate (PTO) from SDGE 2 days after the county inspection. Throughout the process, Stefan kept me up to date on the progress with permits and any delays. He answered all questions I had and took the time to explain everything. He was able to save me thousands of dollars as I did not have to upgrade my 125amp service to a 200amp service as some installers said I needed. Overall, the experience was excellent and I recommend Stefan and Solar Renewable Energy.
