On July 9, 2026, Independent Energy came to my home and installed my Tesla Powerwall 3 storage battery and solar panels. Lead installer Leit Kabua and his crew of ground assistant Jay and roofers Ho'okela and Neo displayed extreme professionalism, job knowledge and high quality work ethic with installing my Tesla 3 Powerwall System. What impressed me more was the owner, James came onsite to visit to meet me and also support his installation crew and even assisted with the solar panel delivery. When you have an owner invested in both his work crew and his customer, it spoke volumes to me from an integrity and respect standpoint about why Independent Energy was the correct choice and company to install my Tesla Powerwall 3 System. What validated the owner/worker investment and relationship more was hearing from this crew themselves in real time on how the owner James gives them his word action wise through showing up at the job site and making sure his workers have all the support and equipment needed to complete the job as efficiently as possible. When a company owner shows up at the job site, works and supports his crew 100%, that's what integrity is and in my eyes, that confirmed to me why Independent Energy was the right choice. The final and most important point that brought everything home to me was hearing the excitement from the work crew about the company incentive reward program James invested with giving back to his work crews, believe me I was super stoked to hear that and the proof of that was shown through the 4 of them on the job with their skill set and dedication to produce a high quality installation job. It is the work crew who is the face of the company and their commitment along with owner investment and support is the reason why Independent Energy is the right choice. Outstanding work and performance unmatched efficiency and quality every other solar company needs to take notes

After researching which solar company we should go for , Independent energy was the first recommendation I found online when looking for solar. I'm so happy I made the right choice by choosing them. From start to finish, communication was there, every question I had was answered and I felt fully supported during the whole process. Desta was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I always try to support local companies and this one really stood out to me. Overall, I can see why they have all these good reviews and it was an awesome experience.

I had Independent Energy Hawaii add (25) PV panels and (3) Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries to my NEM system, and now my monthly HECO bill went from $550 a month to $32 a month. The communication from the IEH team was very transparent and clear throughout the process, as they handled every step required for my solar system to be installed, which included my HOA. The installers were very respectful and knowledgeable about the system, and helped my setup the monitoring through the solar app. I highly recommend Independent Energy Hawaii!
