We were convinced by their competitive pricing and transparent approach during the consultation. Upon completion of the entire process, we were extremely pleased with our decision to choose Independent Energy. During the installation process, we encountered challenges related to our pool system conflicting with electrical codes. While other companies assured us this wouldn't pose a problem, Independent Energy initially highlighted the issue and guided us through the necessary steps to address it. Ultimately, their assistance proved invaluable during the inspection, as it became evident that we might have struggled to pass without their help. Amazing local team to work with. From the first consultation appointment to the final installation of my system everything was precise. The whole process was smooth and it was very easy for me to reach out to them with any questions.

Overall, they are true to their motto - Solar Made Simple. The sales reps were more concerned with ensuring I understood my system rather than pushing to get me to sign a contract. I opted to get the Enphase 5P for safety reasons and the good track record it seems Enphase has with solar. The installation was very smooth and I have not had any issues with my system. Truly satisfied with this experience as a whole.

My system was installed by another contractor in which we did not have a great experience with post install. My system was showing signs of underproduction and overall did not seem like it was working to its full potential. We tried to call our old contractor to get some servicing completed but was not getting anywhere with them. I was able to get in contact with Independent Energy Hawaii and it was a seamless transition on taking my request, presenting a solution and scheduling to get this issue completed in no time.
