Highly recommend Astrawatt for solar panel installation in the Kanas City area. Prior to starting the process, I read many on line horror stories with other national installers about pushy sales process, delays in installation, incorrect paperwork submission, and project managers ghosting customers. My experience with Astrawatt was the farthest from those experiences and was outstanding. I had a focus on a local company that had a positive BBB rating, did the sales, project management, installation and service with no sub-contractors while having been in business for an extended period. Astrawatt fit those requirements, and their education first approach in the initial consultation showed their customer focus. Their sales consultant Reid was free of any high pressure sales tactics, ensuring all my questions were answered and I was comfortable with my selection even. Once contract was signed, the project manager was very responsive, providing routine updates on the process and quickly answering all my many questions. All applications to the city and Evergy occurred in a timely and complete fashion, resulting in the installation being scheduled and performed slightly ahead of schedule. The installation crew was very professional, completing the installation in 2 days as scheduled. Post install the team ensured passed required inspections.

The installers were very professional and knowledgeable of the job! Even the head electrical engineer would take my phone calls so we could talk about the system possibilities. I didn't have your average solar system. I could not have had a better team on my job. would do it again in a heart beat. The system that we put together works great! Better than I had expected.

We started our search by going through energysage, that is where I first contacted Reid. I interviewed 5 companies which included Rising sun. I might be considered a problem customer as I did research into all products and configurations from each. The options provided me by Reid and Rising Sun were by far the best, though it was a tough competition. I decided to go with them based on the level of professionalism in the Quotation, The products and my needs were well laid out. Reid, and the team were all right on point. we have only had the system "online" with Evergy for a short time but it is going well. A final point, if you think you are going to get an electric vehicle (we did shortly after) have an outlet and installation included now, It's the best time to have it done as well.

I thought that going solar was out of reach for me because of the cost and the complexity of installing the system. After contacting Rising Sun, their entire team was very helpful from the beginning to the completion of the project. The salesman was able to size a system that work for my family and my energy needs. I never felt pressured to buy and he was able to answer all my questions promptly over the weeks when I was deciding. With their easy financing options, tax credit, and the rebate from the electrical company, I was able to build a system that produced 80% of electrical needs that the payments and electrical bill will cost less than my average current electrical bill. Once I signed the contract, the entire build team was very helpful and kept me in the loop of project progress. For my house, I choose the Rec Alpha panels because they provided best watt production and warranty for my house. The Rising Sun crew took about 3 days to install the system on the roof. The entire process from start to finish with the took 2 months. That includes designing system, approvals from the city and electrical company, installing, final approvals, and switching to a net meter.

I contacted several solar companies. Some never called back, others had estimates way over my budget. Reid, from Rising Sun, called me promptly. He showed me how I could have solar power for less than my electric bills. The entire process was actually very exciting and they kept me informed all along the way. The installation was impeccable and I highly recommend Rising Sun.
